What’s up @OverallQuill80?! Sounds like you’re in my area. :sunglasses:
Doing any growing?

I had been spraying mine with neem oil until about a week before flowering. Someone tipped me off on here that it can ruin the taste if used as a foliar spray during flowering. So I I’m still using it as a root drench every two weeks until 3 weeks before harvest. Oddly enough I’ve had less spider mites and aphids since I stopped spraying it. I’m trying to get my hands on some PureCrop1 or Crop Defender 3 as they are both insecticide/fungicide that can be used through harvest. I’m not familiar with Dr. Zyme, but be sure it can be used during flowering. The neem oil almost got me. :sunglasses::+1:t2:

So here’s today’s solution. I was a little slow getting it there, but I have the fan out there now as well. It seems to be covering her pretty well, as long as the winds don’t pick up.

You are reading my mind! Low 80s during the day, high 50s at night with low humidity would be perfect.
Are you using rain water for your grow?

Stop it you’re getting me excited. Yeah, that would be perfect, so I’m expecting more rain, a few high temp days, and lots of humidity.
No, I’m actually using well water to water and feed. I get it from the bathrooms or kitchen because those are running through a pH conditioning system to soften the water, unlike the rest of the water to the house. So, I meant to ask you, what type of puppy did you get, it’s sex, and its name?

That’s awesome man, I’m sure both your family’s, and his life, will be enriched by this union. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
How did you fare with the weather? It looks like aside from humidity and no wind, it should be over for a minute. :joy:
I ended up pushing mine into the corner, tilting the umbrella and boxed her in. She was actually dry this morning at 6am.
To follow up on watering, I noticed my soil pH was rising, so I have switched to the outside spigot with is much harder than the water inside. Brought her right back into range. :sunglasses:

Great looking grow. I’m a couple weeks ahead of you up in Louisa County. I just finished thinning the leaves out on my girl (Gold Leaf) this past weekend. My grow has been a strange one this year. All my plants got hammered by hail back on June 28 but true to their nature (weeds) they bounced back pretty well. Here is a pic from the hail day and another from yesterday

Well pleasure to meet you! Bounced back indeed. That is a real looker you have there. :star_struck: Have you ever grown gold leaf before? Been growing long? I definitely feel you on the crazy weather in Va., but haven’t had to combat anything like hail thank goodness. That’s interesting you’re in Louisa. Not sure how long you’ve been there, but I knew a Clarence Anderson (Candyman) whose family was hard rooted there. He was a good man. So good folks around you out there!

Looks like VA’s growing season has been good to all of yall’s plants!!! Your plants are really nice! I live in southside VA and grow indoors due to living in the oak woods. I tried a Bubba Kush out in the garden and she is going to produce, but not like my indoor plants! Good to see VA growers doing good this summer.

I grew a Gold Leaf photo last year. She got much bigger. I was aiming for a pound plant but ended up at 15 ounces or so last season. Been growing my 4 plants every year since they legalized it here and might have accidentally dropped a seed or two in the ground before that.
Lifelong resident of Louisa with the exception of 4 years in the Army. Can’t say I know a Clarence Anderson.
Bud Rot has been my biggest enemy through the years.

What’s up @sandune!! I’m from the Southside myself. You didn’t grow any Tire Fire recently did you? :joy:
I ask because my niece recently brought me some from an indoor friend on Southside.:joy:
Either way, welcome aboard and thanks for the compliment! Post us some pics and let us see what’s happening inside. :sunglasses::metal:t2:

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::metal:t2:

Damn, she was a beauty!! I could deal with a lb. this year. :joy: Well thank you for your service to our country! I hope you’ll stick around and keep me posted on your girl. :sunglasses:
