Any advice for an outdoor grower at 9000’.
I stick with the indica’s, Sativa’s take too long for flowering at this altitude. Have been double black bagging each plant 12/ 12 to get them flowering. Only 2to3weeks to harvest,survived a low yesterday morning of 39 degrees.
I actually have a friend who is in high altitudes as well he only has four months out of the year to grow and because are definitely your best bad but if you have a very short period to grow I know autos have worked well for Him
I actually started with clones, could only keep in veg mode for two months before having to jump start the flowering mode. This is 5th year growing at altitude, but have grown indoors for nearly 30 years. Mother nature is full of surprises and can be cruel. With such short time for growing, you must pay attention to all details in order to have a successful harvest.Its still a crapshoot
