Outdoor, downunder

Hi K8 Downunder,
Ta for the reply, I know that it’s a bit
overwhelming with all the information and pathways a new
grower can take, but I have found over the years that
Common sense and growing by the philosophy of “K.I.S.S.”
Meaning;Keep it simple Simone, generally works well for me and
Probably heaps of other growers. I,like you generally only grow one
or two plants per season, which I find is ample for my needs as I don’t sell it,
but I do enjoy a cone or two. Maybe we can trade growing tips and other
Information in the future seasons to hopefully come !??..have a great

Sorry for the late reply @greenhands. Thanks for you msg I’m trying the KISS method so fingers crossed it works. I would love to share growing tips etc…being new to the growing game I need all the help I can get.

My little plant is coming along nicely but today I fed it nutrients (diluted) and its leaves have curled in a little and a slight brown mark has appeared so I will just revert back to giving it water until it’s a couple of weeks older then re-introduce nutes again.

Best of luck with the little ones!
I am only new at this - but my first thoughts would be nute burn or lights too close. Not sure of your situation. Possibly the nutes were a little too strong? I’d watch them and see if the adjust - and pH’d water only :+1: :sunglasses:
Keep growing strong! :upside_down_face:

Thanks for that @Budz420 yep I reckon the nutes were to much for it just yet.

Oh it’s an outside grow. I’ve got it in a 5gal fabric pot so I can move it around and bring it in at night.

During the day I have been moving it around the garden so that it gets full sun all day so maybe too much sun?

Hi K8downunder,
Sounds as though you have most things under control mate, one thing is for sure it’s all worth it when harvest time comes round !?.as I have said before I generally grow one maybe two plants in the grow season ,we get in our side of the world all free from Mother Nature. This season I have gone with GOLD LEAF X1 and BUBBA KUSH X1. I’m sure I’ll have some HI TIMES ahead, still enjoying last season’s produce of Super Skunks :skunk: thanks to ILGM seed bank, touch green wood, I have so far had NO postage dramas and it didn’t take all that long either (for the Aussie buyers watch the conversation rates !?)as I have told myself,it’s not only the seeds that I’m buying ,it’s also the end product in a round about way and believe me it’s usually F****n mind blowing hopefully  I’m over crappy local seeds that fail or go mophie or male. So I’ve been very happy with the variety and quality of the seeds.
Have a good one. Greenhands

Happy to help. Yes - young plants, seedlings and clone cuttings can be very sensitive to nutes. I tend to flush my soils when I do clones to try and ease the adjustment - that seems to work.
I haven’t grown outside - so really can’t comment on how much is too much for seedlings. There are many here that will know immediately. :+1: :sunglasses:
