Outdoor auto flower run

Hi all!!
Joined a few months back with my first indoor run. Came out nice and stoked on the folks here and the info available!!!

Done a few outdoor in years past we have perfect weather. I’m so cal about 8 miles from coast. Doesn’t get too hot but plenty of sun. Dry offshore winds in fall.
Bigger trouble outside is the worms from the butterflies.
I used net last year with success.

Tried auto run many years back and I was not impressed with yield. Trying again based on pics I’m seeing on here.

My set up:
Ilgm seeds 3 goldleaf 2 wedding cake 1 gelato 1 zkttles
5 gal fabric bags hold more like 6
Fox farms ocean mix
Outdoor southern exposure bug netting going to finish up tonight

6.19 beans got wet

6.24 I see green

6.27
Moved to forever home

I will continue to update.
My hope is 5 weeks from now I will harvest my tent cure and enjoy. Starting a new run in te tent at that time. The auto run will wrap 6 weeks after where I will start another run outside.
This plan has me at like six harvests a year if all works out.
Ambitious but so far I’m enjoying the first tent and savings have begun!!

Happy growing!!

You are lucky as we are getting about 2” of rain in 2.5 days. Glad I have to grow indoors. Cali weather is way to cold for me. I was freezing here last night at 75 degrees.

You must be in the south?

Just hang out in Death Valley, plenty of heat in the summer! It’s a DRY heat!

I can’t complain…must be an easy job to be a weatherman here!

Wishing for rain as I watch my lawn die. Water restrictions are in place, as they should be! Water is now only used at my house for weed, fruits and vegies, showers and cooking…sorry lawn and flowers. Succulents rule my planters!

It’s too cold here for me here in the winter, I am setting my future for Cabo San Lucas area for winter in the future. House is done there, I just need to finish making money!! Surfing in California is cold and crowded. Cabo is warm, great waves, less people and the margaritas are stellar!!
Stoked we have no heatwave coming as I am heading south for a surf next week! I have my caregivers in place.

I have trained in the Mojave and part of Death Valley. Its just dry heat.

In 2019 was hitting 115 to 120 daily and with the 100% humidity we was hitting 138+. It’s pretty hot down a long the South Texas coastline. Even at 1am it was still 120.

My room is about 85 degrees and I snuggle in my 5 lb sleeping bag rated for -20 degrees F and is a Wiggy’s bag.

Having finally adapted anything below 90 I get cold now. And I am from the North where we was hitting as low as -50 daily. I would die in those temps now.

Every few years we hit the National Stage for setting weather records. Like the one year we hit 100+ for 30 days of August. Before humidity factored in.

I am at a Firework Stand so I am feeling the heat. I keep telling California to send the water trucks. We are expecting over 2” in 2.5 days so it will cool down. Then it’s bad. I guess they don’t have EV Water trucks yet. :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Thank you for your service!! I cherish the freedoms of our country and greatly respect those who have served!

I was too busy surfing and smoking crappy weed!

Think a pipeline of water would do the trick. They can move oil in pipes and so what if the water one leaks!!

So I think I’m gonna lose one of my wedding cake plants.
She was leaning over last night toward sunset so much she touched soil. When I pushed a bit of soil near her to stand her up she fell the other way.
This morning she is up but limp. The rest are springy if you bump em. This one is limp. Leaves a down too.

Compare the two cake spouts. Right next to each other.

@Prock fingers crossed you can nurse her along!!

Laying over when I stopped by a bit ago.
Was not dry but I gave fluids and took her out of direct sun.
Under the apricot tree….nursing icu!

@Prock prockdoc!!

Hope not a undertaker!!

She is my bonus 7 th. I was planning on 6. But just like my surprise child I want her now!!

Not dead yet. Still green. Leaves down.
Still laying over

Heavy fluids and partial sun.

Figure if she is not standing in the morning she will likely not make it.
Rest are fine. Still figuring out their water schedule. Trying to automate. Not there yet.

Tent is happy

Ok so sick wedding cake is still not dead.
Not sure what pissed it off.

The rest are not progressing as fast as I expected. I know te dart is slow but these are not doing much at all and a bit pale or even yellow

Worried that the ocean blend fox farms soil is too rich for them. I have never used started soil but that is my worry.

Leaving Friday for six days. Yeah I know not good timing!
Caregiver will check moisture when he does the girls in the tent.

I hope they get on track by the time I get back!

Ok
I’ve been a bad parent.
Surfing and traveling a bunch.
Left my autos for nature and auto water.
Still alive.

Five have survived, none doing much. Two are happier than the rest. All have flower in progress
Gonna let ‘em run the course but not expecting much.

Started an auto run in the tent😜
