I found some chillers that would work for what we need for the 12 gallon reservoir for around $100, but Im wondering if they would give the same issues with raising the PH as you had with the air stones. It would have a pump constantly circulating the reservoir.

I don’t thinik it was the circulation it was the airstone and massive bubbles, which in itself, sounds great to have oxygenated nutes. If the circ isn’t super strong causing actual broken surface something tells me it would not have the same effect or a bad effect on your pH.
Growers have found that circ pumps (I have a couple) if run continuously, raise the temp but that would be offset by the chiller. That sounds like a great price @Rugar89
Looked a little further and the $100 ones are just a finned heat exchanger with a fan blowing on it. JUNK!
Its looking more like closer to $300 to get a chiller and pump that will work for us.

BBA2 Update 3/10/18
Grow #2 is in the books. I jarred up BBA2 and after six hours my hygro’s are all on the 60-63% RH range.

@Blasting couple theories as I am frankly stunned and was when I emptied all four grocery bags into my weighing box. I knew it was gonna rival BBA1 then or surpass.
I think the fact that it had the whole tent to itself for a month and because it struggled to amber up , it stayed on overdrive longer than BBA1. FRankly, without looking back< i don’t recall the life of BBA1 or if it was put into my makeshift DWC due to root issues but clearly BBA2 blows me away harvest wise.

Flush wise, does 3 days only of straight water does it? i was looking at AN’s flawless finish and was wondering if that was worth it. I have to admit my first harvest is good but still has a bad taste to it… some buds are amazing some are less.

I flushed this last plant for five days total I think with plain water (not ph’d) and florakleen from GH. I had it laying around. My BBA1 didn’t get much of a flush but she tastes great.
Not sure if it’s the flush, the cure or what but my GCA doesn’t taste that awesome, not terrible, but not great.
I could see a day where I say F it and just grow BB LOL @Blasting
Point is, I don’t see any harm in a proper finishing agent in the flush water. I will say on flush, BBA2 started taking in twice the volume as it was on nutes, was amazing really how much she drank in that last week, like 6 gallons or so.

I find that with most weed, even street weed I used to buy. By feel and smell and of course, effect, you could delineate better nugs from others. Each time I open my jar I “shop” for a little dense one of a certain color as they have proven to be extra nice.

yeah, not sure if its not only the dry/cure part i got wrong or i dunno. my crystal candy smells sooo good and some joints are so fruity and then i roll one that has some bad taste to it loll… and hmmm blueberry… i ordered Blue cheese seeds yesterday, they will be in my next grow. I want that weed since I smoked it in november the taste is so wonderful!

I just went in to check and burp jars. All jars are RH 54% so
A. I over dried again and just tripled up on bovedas in each jar
and
B. 9.6zips is conservative given they are crispy kritters at this point.
Due to wicked work week, I left them hanging 3 days longer than my first 2 plants which only hung 48 hrs then into bags. More grower error because FML…

This just happened for me - 5 Purple Haze and 5 Super Silver Haze! Hope they grow as well as the WW and GLs have so far.

@blasting I have some dark devils (2) from Sweet. Still have 2 crystal meth from fast buds too.
Having finished my two test grows photo’s vs auto’s the results are hands down, the auto’s out performed the photos with my set up. As promised some pics. These are the jars of my grow. They are not in 1 ounce portions and I have gone through about 2.5 ounces of BBA1 and about 1 ounce of green crack. So approx. 21.5 ounces in these jars…
