Running the Flower Power UV F-20 8 hr/day seems to really make em “wake up”…will post pics thru harvest so we can analyze later lol…this UV is interesting stuff!!!

@Jd8261 jus keep in mind these lights r rather powerful with UV and can cuz serious damage to urself or your plants if not used correctly…i stay out wen its ON…good luck wit them!!!

Hey thanks for the advice on the UV lights appreciate that! I’m new grower my first grow with seeds I actually bought lol but I’m open to any info to help along the way as any newbie should! @Northerngreenthumb im using HLG550 V2 Rspec and I ordered the Solacure Flower Power F40 T-12 4’ any advice on how to setup these together?
@Jd8261 so i did a bunch of research on these lights and they are made to be overhead fixtures hung 12” from canopy top…to use the one you got, start at 2hrs/day and work up every 4 days in 15min increments(factory recommendations). I have the 2’ version so its a bit different. Factory recommends 1 for every 1000 watts of light in your room as well.
Heres how im using them in late flower:

Day 1 after set-up i started at 1 hr and kept light on checking back every half hour…upon reaching 6 hrs i finally saw some drooping and shut it off…next day resumed until i reach 8hrs and set them on a timer for 8hr everyday. You will notice a “little bit” of leaf damage at the tips but that is completely normal.(this process actually triggers the increased resin production)
I have mine set-up in between my 2 2000s
I would imagine you could put them where needed for supplemental light 12”, factory recommends overheat 12”
