ABORIGINE
Bringing a hindu kush leaning citrus afgahni strain to the mountains of caliā¦.theres lots to offer in this plantā¦
Old Mother Ghani is a seed line Bodhi got long ago as an old afghani from a private collector.
he had this line crossed over to a krush strain at the time i was testing for himā¦im not big on satys, so this had to really catch my attention to keep her aroundā¦she grew very easy with very little attentionā¦this strain gets really hungry towards the end of flowerā¦the effect is what got meā¦super perma grin with an awesome body effectā¦.
I crossed OMG-krush over to a special vanilla scented Yeti f3 male by loompa farms. this really sealed the deal for bringing a big green monster from the outdoors, into the hps sun to show what she can do.
OMG brings out big sweet long branchy lemon resinous Afghani buds. very old school, very healing with lots of meditationā¦
depending on how you train her, she likes plenty of room to stretch out her roots. Yeti has improved the structure as well as the density to heavy colas.
two main phenoās
50% omg/krush pheno leans on the hindu kush side for looks, with multiple lemon citrus frosty tops that branch like a Christmas tree. this pheno is nice for a trellis training. 50% yeti pheno grows very big and bushy with softball size buds that kick out sweet floral og terps with strong skunky vanilla undertones. make sure you got room for this beast. shes got big everything.
great for mediation, yoga, anti depressant, anti inflammatory, ptsd and socializing.

I have a pair of Queen Mother Goji seeds. Any relation to Old Mother Ghani?
QUEEN MOTHER GOJI
Soon as Oklahoma passed legislation for legal cannabis, I was eager to visit a dispensary and see what we Oklahomans had to offer. I knew that the blackmarket had top shelf cannabis and wanted to discover how medicinal marijuana fared. OKMC (Oklahoma Medical Cannabis) set the standard for local dispensaries. They had the top-shelf cannabis I sought. And the knowledge of those behind the counter reiterated to my mother the same stories I had told her for the longest time. Now, their knowledge was passed on to her. I had books about landrace strains and was eager to find out more. I discovered Queen Mother Goji. From the mountains of Nepal to the arid deserts of India, this strain has strong roots in these regions. With parents Nepalese OG and Snow Lotus, the enhanced mood often alleviates depression in patients seeking relief from them. This strain also helps one settle and ease the tension in body and mind: releasing any pain. For those withe eating disorders, this strain brings hunger to them returning their desire to eat. With undertones of spice and musk, Queen Mother Gojiās dominant terpene profile blends floral , pine, and earth. The smoke on the inhale, a cool breeze. On the exhale, a walk in a garden. Then again, those were my surroundings during my smoke session.
Thank you so much. That was more information than I hoped for. Confirmed my suspicions, though.
Any information on the others?
well Im about to flower 3 pure Afghans, actually from Afghanistan! Cant get more authentic than that!
Man there was some stuff on the streets of Eastern ky in the late 80s and early 90s that we just called "red hair sensimillia ".
I have never been that high since. Best shit ever. I wish I knew what it actually was. Iād grow hell out of it
Lucky me for burning a Maui sativa as I scrolled. Ran head first into your nostalgic wall which tripped all of my taste buds.Yes I remember! Think the only goodie not mentioned would be opium(white) streaked Black hash.
@Meatpickle @Covertgrower saw you guys were in/coming to MI so I had to make an account to say Iām from MI as well, new grower looking for OLD strains that no oneās growing anymore. Saw you were looking for monkey paw and was wondering if you had any updates on the search?
This may have been a strain meatpickle was researching, Iāve never heard of it. He hasnāt logged in in awhile.
Secondly, welcome to the forum! Pull up a chair, a doobie, and watch weed grow here. Always love to shout out to fellow my Michiganders! Happy to have you around.
Thank you happy to be hereš hopefully he logs back in it very interested to see if he has any news, Iām looking to grow all the old strains that no one has anymore, 70ās strains and so on, but want some Shiva Skunk and Blue Dream mainly. Have some seeds growing right now from some outdoor stuff called āSlurricaneā āApples and Bananasā āBossā and maybe some āStrawberry Dieselā theyāre just little 3-5 inch plants right now and have no idea if theyāre female but hereās hoping.
Hey there, true landrace strains are hard to negotiate in the exploding array of hybrids nowadays with the legalization happening. Monkey paw I have tracked to the Detroit metro area and Canada. What I found was growers were selling clones of what was claimed to be monkey paw without any proof of lineage. They price was exorbitant for an unproven. The search continuesā¦
I was in Alaska looking for Alaskan thunder fuck (ATF) and could only find variants, most were Manitowak not ATF so I will continue on with that. Gonna take a collaborative effort of old heads to get landraces back to original and pry them out of hybrids.
Oh man youāre getting around, hope Alaska was good even though there was no ATF. Do you think even though they had no proof it might have been the OG monkey paw? The chance is so low I doubt it but hell any chance of Iāll take it! Whatās your method to tracking these strains? Because I would love to help track some down
Try to look at different forums. Local to the area you think or heard the strain might still be available
Ps. Watch out for outrages prices, there are a lot of scammers that will tell you anything to get your $
Will do, Iāll keep that in mind. Happy Hunting
