Lily… did you get high on the sample? That part hasn’t changed. … lol glad some other ppl weighed in I wasn’t gonna ask ppl if you didn’t feel comfortable ya know.
Yeh AfgVet maybe I’ve been looking at the wrong part of the plant. I just looked for the shape where ever I could get a shot with my camera. I’ll pay attention next time I check. Your method sounds more definitive than just looking for clear/cloudy.
LoCoRock I did get a buzz from sample and can’t say I felt to comfortable with it, initially. More energy and being more engaged with what I was doing was cool. I was much more relaxed, pointing out how much stress I’ve been carrying around. I think I just need to relax into the high and all will be happy and peaceful.

@BuzzCut2030 I’ve chopped 2 of 3 plants in my first grow. I’m confident that both were taken too soon. As @AfgVet mentioned, this is a stressful part because we worked hard to get to this point. It seemed to me that this final phase of pistils browning and trichomes cloudy and amber takes time. My northern is on week 16 of flowering and still to many clear trichomes! I’m just going to let her keep maturing!
You know what effects you are aiming for, now just monitor the buds and trichomes.
Continued growing success.
Plants look great!

So I went straight ph correct water about 8 days ago. I’m lookin at the plants and another week I’m guessing is needed to get to the clear trichomes with some amber on the bud and not on the sugar leaves.
What I’m concerned about now are many leaves are turning brown and falling off the plant.
To be expected since no nutes but can I just keep giving straight water and expect the plant to still get to the result I’m looking for? Or should I go back to providing Some FF nutes?
Thanks for the help. I’m anxious to see if this helps with the arthritis pain. I definitely think it’ll help my sometimes crappy attitude.
As the plant finishes. The leaves can start to die. I would keep as you are from the looks of your plant. Are you doing a 2 week flush? I just posted this on another post a minute ago lol It may help you too
Yup, she’s just pulling her nutrients from the leaves. Perfectly normal while your giving straight H2O. You should be fine to the end.
So here I am 12 days after the last pics and still no amber trichomes. Would think I would have some by now. Girls aren’t very thirsty these days. Using straight water PH corrected. I’m wondering how much longer I should wait.
Today is the start of week 13.
Any advice would be appreciated. OldDude Mike
My patience is always tested waiting on tricombs. I’m seeing mostly to all cloudy. If it were me, I would chop it. It’s beautiful btw
I feel the same for mine. I have had a plant turn almost orange waiting for amber. I have only seen it on @Myfriendis410 s plants. So I just got with a strong cloudy color
I have some White Widow that I chopped at 10 weeks. Probably too early but I had 4 plants so It got chopped for me to see if potent and I was anxious. So now it dry and curing in mason jars. The question I got is: is it suppose to have an extremely strong pungent woody sharp spice kinda nasty smell? It’s not an ammonia or musty smell according to my wife who has a good sniffer for that stuff. If it stays that strong smell I’m tossing it since I think something must be wrong with it. Smoked some and very mild buzz and energy.
Anyone got any thoughts on this?
Did you trim the buds before jarring? Do you know the RH in the jars? Just wondering out loud .
I did Rough trim before drying And more trimming before jarring. I probably could trim better but I was in a rush. RH in jar is 62. I put Integra Boost Medium 8 Gram Humidity Pack 62% in jars with electronic humidity gauge. The RH here is usually around 50 so I needed to add moisture.
Sounds good. I wouldn’t let the humidity get over 62%. You burping jars twice a day for starters? Should be good to go. My nose says my jars smell a bit off but my wife says they smell great so I’m going with it because we all know the wife is usually right!
I’ve been burping just 1x per day leaving open 10 minutes or so. I’m going to continue and give a week or so before deciding what to do with it. 2 other plants are drying so I’ll see what they smell like in a week or so. Right now in the drying box (with a little PC fan) they only have a slight somewhat pleasant smell. So. We will see.
