Oh no! Am I going to kill the babies?

Okay so I flushed (Sledgehammer) and fed the babies today .
(DWC) Feeding FF trio 1/2 the reccomend amount and used Hydroguard.
My ph is 6.0 , room temp 78 degress, water temp 71 degrees, Rh is 47% and my ppm is only 290.
I have had trouble getting it high , but it has been around 490.
I know to increase it I feed more , but how much above 1/2 the recommended should I go , and should I do it now or wait until next feeding?

Why are you using sledge hammer…?
Root problems?
Water temps should be 68 degrees or as close too , over 72 can start to lead to problems…
Are you using 5 gallon buckets for your dwc?
You should be cleaning out your buckets and air stones and lines every 3 weeks…
What stage of vegg are you in (ie) early , mid , late vegg ?
In hydro vegg ph should be 5.8 to 6.4
I like to be 6.0 to 6.4

Plants are still young …
250 to 350 ppm would be fine…
Water level needs to be 1 to 2 inches below net baskets… if it’s not already…
What size air stones and what size air pump and for how many plants ?

@peachfuzz I was using Sledgehammer because FF recommended it. Plants are 18 days old and have tons of white roots. Ph is now at 5.7.

@peachfuzz water level is 2 inches below net pots. I have two 6 inch stones in each bucket and pumps are for up to 1500 gallons.

Are you using there soil schedule or a hydro schedule… I dont think you need the sledge hammer unless you’re having root problems…

@peachfuzz I am using the hydro schedule.
So should I just stay away from the Sledgehammer completely? It also says to put in 2 drops with every feeding.

I’m not really familiar with ff nutrients… I do grow hydro rdwc tho , but I use gh nutrients…
I will see what I can find out for you…
