Yeah…these are some great seeds…of all times I didn’t want them to “super grow” lol…guess I won’t be able to flush my other plants in time, as I wanted to start a 2 week flush next week. at this rate I’m gonna have to harvest a earlier then I wanted cause they are going to outgrow that 2x2 cabinet

Another day Daren  my HLG B spec came in, I’ll swap it into play next day or so

@Hellraiser @dbrn32 I got this new HLG Bspec for my small cabinet but I can’t find the height or wattage requirement…I know hellraiser has b spec experience, and dbrn32 has LED knowledge, I’m hoping one of you 2 gentlemen can help?

Sweet! If you are vegging them on 18 hour schedule, running light at about 75% should be plenty in 2x2 space. That would be about halfway up on io adjust if using hlg-120h-54A driver. The dimming range is from about 50% current to about 105% nameplate current. I would probably try to end up about 18" or so above canopy.

If you need more or less heat you can certainly adjust. Same with height if plants are showing dissatisfaction. Everything is kind of a baseline and then adjust from there as needed.

So the driver didn’t have an external dimmer (only the one on the driver), so I have it on a wattage meter, so would that be…75 watts at 18” or should I bump it to 90w? I’d like to find a good efficient wattage and just adjust the height if I can

You don’t need an external dimmer, just use one that’s built in like I posted above. Anywhere in 80-100 watt range is fine. There’s not that big of difference.

The 135 kit with A dimming driver has around 10% difference in efficiency from highest setting to lowest setting. And it’s pretty darn efficient at full power. So don’t sweat that stuff over keeping your environment ideal and plants growing well.

Got it, I like to push the limits, I just don’t want to over do it and go to high of wattage and push to much ppfd if it has a chance of burning a plant when they are so young…I just wanna skirt that limit some so to speak.

Co2 will be your best friend then - will allow you to do exactly what you’re describing… although good luck sourcing it if you’re not somewhere where grow stores are common… having a tough go at it myself via Amazon :frowning: looking great!! Well done

Are those 1 gallon pots?

With the 135 b spec in my mother clone 2x2 tent, I usually run it at 80 watts with about 20" above the plants. When I want to ramp up growth on the clone moms I kick it up to about 100 watts.

They are just a tad bigger than 1 gallons… they are size 8, which I think are more like 1.25 gallons

Ok, so here they are at about 14days in…need them to get their 6th node going so I can cut em all :smiling_imp: this “mainline” I’m gonna try to do is getting exciting. Last grow I just did some topping and small trimming, I’m gonna go for 8 main tops on each of these and shoot for about a 60(ish) day veg…I’ll be putting these girls into 7gal pots and shooting for 24” preflower height:

Topped yesterday at 3rd node, and trimmed off first node growth and 2nd node growth (left the second node fan leaves for now…hopefully I’ll start seeing that third node growth take off and I can start the LST: 6th one is no where near ready to top/train

Woo hoo you done it.
Dang I find that hard to do.
Well done. I’ve enjoyed following your journey so far with this grow. They so fast.
I can’t get over it.
Keep up the good work and updates.

@Hellraiser how does my mainline training look? It’ll be my first time doing this, so I kinda have low expectations but my goal is to fill my 3x6 space a little better…my HLG UVA supplement lights just got shipped finally, so I spose that will improve a lot over all, but idk when I should start using them?
