O2 levels in a sealed grow room

Hi everyone, I am setting up a sealed (closed looped) grow room will be absolutely sealed. The only opening is the entry door which is also well sealed. The space is 1700 cu. ft. It was cold in this new area this morning so I thought I would heat it up with a 30,000 btu. temporary propane heater. I left the space for a half an hour while the space warmed. When I returned to the space I tried to light a butane lighter it would not light. I tried a second lighter I happened to have in my pocket with the same results. I left the room and both lighters lit right up. I deduced that my new space was void of ample oxygen. I chose a closed looped system so I could have a completely controlled environment to support the best growth. My question is how can I make sure the that my new grow area will have sufficient O2 for both myself and my plants? I realize the plants will generate a small amount oxygen but I plan on employing a natural gas CO2 generating in the space that will also be depleting the O2. The winter here it gets in the double digits stupid cool outside and I did not plan on inducing any air exchanges. How would I solve this if it were a issue? When completed a mini split will heat and cool the space. I was really concerned if the natural gas generator will deplete oxygen in the space. Will it create a toxic environment ? Will my 12 plants put out more o2 then the generator will use

Welcome to ILGM, @divingdavy! This sounds like quite the project, a bit more than the typical grow around here. My first thought was the problem of carbon monoxide in a sealed space with a propane heater. I’m not sure though. That’s a pretty large space.

in a maxed out sealed room u will have unpleasant conditions,
too much light and heat, and low O2 levels.

most ‘sealed’ rooms ventilate at some time or times everyday.!

before building your room, i’d suggest lots of research.!!
especially research Co2 levels and usage.!

Yes… I grow this way…
Super simple… just need a design…
What are your setups… (ie)
What do you have to work wifh…?
This thread might just help alot of you fellow cultivators out…
I grow sick…
sorry
Roots need oxygen…
Plants need co2…
What’s the question?
