Nutrients calculation for specific pots in each phase

Please help me to calculate amount of nutrients.

Situation: I tend to use 1 gallon pot for vegetative phase and 5 gallon for flowering phase.

Watering with nutrients: In veg phase, i mix 1/4 gallon ( around 0.9 liter) water and 1mL nutrients to water a weed pot/ watering time. In case, i have 10 pots, i need 1/4 gallon water x 10. Then, mix with 1mL x10 as manufacturer formula.

In flowering phase, i transfer weed to 5 gallon pot. i mix 1/4 of 5 gallon ( around 4.7 liters) with 5mL( example as i follow nutrients manufacturer calculator) to water a pot. In case i have 10 pots, i have to use 4.7 liters x 10 ( around 50 liters). That mean i have to use a 50 liters reservoir to mix amount of water and nutrients. Please help me to correct my calculation on watering with nutrients. I think using a kind of reservoir doesn’t matter. Example, i prefer using 20 liters reservoir to water 10 pots. How can i mix water and nutrients?

I know that in each phase and a time for watering, mixing water and nutrients should be met suggested ppm parameter. However, i am still confused with watering. Please help.

Just multiply the amount of nutes for one gallon/liter times however many gallons/liters you’re using. There’s never any need to make 1/4 gallons of nutes or anything less than whole gallons. Doing so is an unnecessary complication. If you need 4.5 gallons of nutrient solution just go ahead and make 5 gallons. Keeps you using nice round numbers. Mixed nutrients are usually okay for a week after mixing so you won’t have any waste. I hope that answers your question.

Can you give me a detail example and calculation?

If you can tell me what nutrients you’re using, the recommended dose of each from the bottles or a feed chart and how many gallons of nutrient solution you need I can give you and exact answer. If you don’t know the recommended dose for some reason I’ll help you find a feed chart.

Above are 2 examples for 2 phases, grow and bloom.

How can i apply using water and nutrients for 10 pots?

Note: Amount of water for 1 time watering is 1/4 weed pot.

I think I see what you’re asking. How old are your plants? Are you growing in soil, coco or something else? It’s impossible to say that plants will need 1/4 the pot size per watering. I can make an educated guess as to how much water they’ll need per watering based off the age. I think you’re overthinking it though. Why not just make like 5 (maybe less depending on how much plants are taking in a week) gallons of solution, use it until it runs out and then make more?

If you’re in week one of the first chart, for example, put 1ml of a, 1 ml of b and 2ml each of b-52 and voodoo juice per gallon of water in that order. If you make five gallons of nutrient solution put 5ml of each part a and b and 10ml of b-52 and voodoo juice. Use what you need. Save the rest til next watering.

5 Gal bucket, 4 gal water, Jacks 3-2-1 mix for three gallons of water (simple 3-2-1).
PPM and decide how to dilute for 1200PPM.@6.2PH

:point_up_2: Deep has it right. Less emphasis on specific doses and more on managing runoff PPM.

I’d have to disagree with that to a degree. Maybe not disagree but add to. PPM going in and out is important. Equally important is the nutrient element ratio. Gotta make sure those ppms are the right stuff. You get that correct by using the doses from the feed chart. Once mixed you can adjust the ppm by adding water. If you were talking about doses per plant I couldn’t agree more. Just make a batch, water each plant sufficiently and save the rest til next time.
