This is a good point, @dbrn32. I’d understood that some growers go 12/12 from seed but didn’t know the lag between veg and flower in that scenario.

Yes you can certainly do that. It seems like those end up being 100+ day grows.
@Boglegs idea of doing it with a clone. You’d be looking at some transition and flowering time only for instance, probably better this time of year for most climates. Be curious how it turns out if you try though.

I pulled a medium sized cutting from GSC. Let’s see how this goes. Dropped Jack as well. What can I say, this is fun. 
Amnesia has some amber. I’m guessing another couple of days. Monday or Tuesday I’ll move her into the shed for 24h of dark before cutting - but can wait longer if she doesn’t progress as fast as I expect.

Small tail maybe starting to form on Jack. My GSCX cutting is firm and well hydrated; we’ll see if roots show up in a week or so. I’m not going to put it into the soil medium until then.
Amnesia is still not quite there. I’ve taken drip off of her and will let her keep maturing and will only water minimally, as needed. I’m really impressed with how she’s budded up, considering how annihilated her leaves were after my trip!
Everyone else is doing pretty well. GSCX has a tendency to wilt more quickly than the others, even when the soil is still damp. So she needs a little more water. OGK was my smallest runt seedling, and is one of the strongest at this point.

Amnesia trichs. Depending on the bud and location, anywhere from 5% to 20% amber. So definitely feels like this week. Agree/disagree?

I would go til leaves yellow or weather says pull them. I prefer couch lock of mostly amber.

Curious about something. Amnesia is throwing out new purplish pistils at the ends of the buds. Is this typical? Not sure I’ve seen it before. It’s happening on all buds.

Sativas will go into a bit of a stand still and then throw fresh pistils like that. But that kinda looks like may be foxtails.

She’s done anyway, I’ve locked her in the dark. These started just a couple of days ago. I think she was trying to impress me so I wouldn’t kill her.

Here’s a shot of the small root ball from that weird Amnesia Haze plant. The pot is 10 gallons. I think we can all agree it was an auto seed in the wrong bag, so there’s a little confirmation here that you don’t need more than maybe a 3 gallon pot for outdoor autos. Not full confirmation, since it’s one plant and one that underwent a lot of stress, but you get the idea.

How much dry do you think you’ll get??
Hard to say for sure. Volume-wise it’s similar to my indoor haul last year from Chocolope, but these buds are super dense in comparison. I think 4oz is a safe guess. Not bad for 84 days if so.
Nice!! I’m also growing NL Fem inside. Have five plants going and am trying to guess on how much I’ll get.

From what I’ve read, Amnesia Hazes are tricky outside b/c they’re so susceptible to bugs & disease.
