No Trichome production on Jack Herer Auto Feminised Seeds

@DPCBassman I see a ton of orange pistols on those giant beauties you grew but there are a lot of white pistols floating about, none of them showed up to the party late did they? I’m seriously impressed with the structure of that colas on that monster you grew!! Some great pics dude!

No late comers - they’ve all been steady and consistent.
Yes, thank you. She’s about 4’ above the top of the 5Gal bag. Actually, I ran out of horizontal space and need a larger tent for the next round.

I’m on week 12 from breaking ground. My Jack herer had some issues early as I had a nutrient lockout due to not pH testing my well water. As well as not enough nutrients/microbes in my living soil I believe. I had a heat spike during the middle of flower and it added to the stress. We made it this far though yours look awesome though. Here’s a quick look at her, I’m harvesting the top bud tomorrow morning and letting the rest have a few more days.

@Corndaddie my JHA is now 4mo above ground, as you can tell by the lack of foliage, I’ve kept this gal, as the others, at ~6.4pH throughout their growth. Your “issues” can certainly cause disruption, but she looks better, in the area of trichome production, than does mine. She looks juicy! This gives me pause as to if I’ve provided the proper nutrients, namely Potassium. I will have to check my feeding notes. It may be the breed - mine is Seedsman. No offense to ILGM, it’s just a matter of sourcing etc…
Yes, take that main cola tomorrow and kindly rsvp as to the quality.

Well I chopped her down and that top bud weighed just under 70 grams wet. Got her hanging in a dark room 45-50% RH and 60-63 degrees should be a good slow dry? After 24 hours of hanging she’s drying and smelling good!

So my top bud ended up having bud rot in the center and I didn’t notice it right away… sadly my fault I think it started during a heat wave when I didn’t have good environmental control. Cut the rest of the plant down and did a thorough look through the buds. Did a wash in peroxide water and it’s been hanging for 7 days. tomorrow I’m going to be dry trimming and bagging all my buds in 1oz grove bags. First plant went through hell but she’s finally bade it to the end.

My second Jack herer is showing some fun purple colors and the buds are filling out, gonna give it microbes and some water in the morning.

Okay y’all, pics from 2 days ago - not much has changed in 2 days.
I’ve limited lighting now (1) SF-1000 at 40%. Had at 100% full until this PM.
I do have another 100W at ~20" for other sproutlings, but it’s below all flowers on this JH-Auto.
Now she’s at 22 weeks above soil.
Am I getting impatient or is this continued growth anywhere near normal for an Autoflower?

Mine did the same thing. After foxtailing continued I decided they were done and I’m glad I did. I harvested and I’m getting rave reviews from my friends. I think mine also would have continued and I’ve read that foxtailing weakens the buds (though I saw no data as to how and why), and didn’t see an end in sight if I didn’t just harvest.

My personal opinion, which isn’t worth much, is that they’re done. Curious what that those with more knowledge will say and can’t wait to hear more!

Sorry man I just finished my first two autoflowers so I’m not much help at this point, those look awesome though! I harvested my second plant and it didn’t have any foxtails like my firdt plant did

Duly noted. I’ll wait for Storm and FOD to respond.
As Sweet Lou Pinela (sp) used to say “I think I’ve seen enough” [pp]

@DPCBassman i think your choppable. What do your trich images look like? Your bud stacks look phenomenal with all the right colors minus your new white pistols. 22 wks is a long time, I’d imagine your trichs would tell you the same.

Thanks, FOD.
Trichs are milky, small, but very healthy! Pistils just keep popping which has left me confused.

@DPCBassman i had 4 GSC Autos popped up on 2/27 and just chopped 3 of’em Tues but have the last one in the tent still lol. You and me got autos that wanna live forever.

Right on!
@Storm , where the heck are you??? Need an additional opinion here mang.
Mmmmmaybe @Nicky - how’s about a ruling on this Jack Herrer Auto???

I think you can chop. Sooooo much red hair. It is close enough. Those white are just there now. She looks like that red haired mexican we used to get.

True - pistils continue to grow. Trying to avoid the “paranoid” sativa. I have to correct myself - these are 21 weeks out. Regardless, unless @Nicky jumps in and says “WAAAAAIIIIIT…” then she’s gonna be taken tomorrow.
FWIW - I’ve never seen a red haired Mexican, but that’s not to say…enough of that - It’s all good. Come to think of it - we used to see what was termed “Red Bud” (very nice!) back in the day, but as I recall, that was more leaf colored of red rather than red hairy bud. Still new to cultivating soooo…
Thanks y’all.
I’ll let you know how she turns out.

Lmao. Man I used to go into middle mexico when young"was safe". There are more blonde haired and red haired blue and green eyed than you can shake a stick at. A lot of Spanish influence. Just like the U.S. Mexico is huge and very varied.

No kidding??? Well fuk-me-runnin’!
I’ll give you a full report brotha.

Sometimes it can be hard to tell if it’s foxtailing or not.
Alot of your pistils look brown so that would make me wonder what tricombs look like around those areas.

Tricombs are the biggest ripeness factor, examine them with your USB or Bluetooth microscope (you should have from Amazon)

Can you post some tricomb pics?
