So after asking a few questions and listening to everyones opinions / advise i ordered my light which turned up yesterday!
Its the Viparspectra reflector series 900w which will give me 60 watts per square foot to play with!
So no going back now!!
Turned it on (like you do!) as soon as i had it out the box and f**k me its bright!
Gona need some sun glasses for in the tent me thinks!?!
I now have the tent set up with the light hung and the thermpro in there so i can find out what temps ive got to play with
Anyways the reason for this post is i just wana say thanks to everyone whos helped so far (and im sure will be helping again in the very near future! more questions to come im sure!)
@man10101, alright, up and running, bought the same light but have no tent and seeds yet so itās in box still, Iām hoping to compare notes w/ you in the future, good luck, no going back now is right!
Dude lol get some UV grow room glasses for sure youāll need them once your eye get damaged you canāt repair them and the intensity of theses lights is crazy
Your going to love the results plants will have tight node placement and your plants will be bushy

That sounds like a super nice lamp!
I have 2 300 W LED plus some TaioTronics 12w as side lights in my tent but might just maybe maybe add a second tent for flowering with a nice high wattage lamp as well ā¦ waiting to see how things āgoā right now and evaluating overall operating costs !

Congratulations on the new light I have been like a kid at Christmas every time one of mine came in the big brown truck . Absolutely agree with @Countryboyjvd1971 on the U.V. glasses there is something about led lighting that is harsher than even working outside in full sun . I worked on the water 25 years and my led bothers my eyes more than the sun ever did . It might be the mylar but I have to have my uv glasses or I see spots for a hour
Yeah @Oldstoner like I said turned my light on soon as turned up Was pointing it at the floor n my eyes still didnt feel right for the rest of the night!?! Gota get some glasses!?!

Yeah got my light n yeah def getting eye protection!
When it turned up first thing i did was turn it on (like u do!) n even with it pointing at the floor n being on for not even 20 secs my eyes didnāt feel right for the rest of the nite!?!
