@dbrn32 no doubt!!! Definitely some potent stuff haha
@Spiridly decarbing complete now to grind everything up fine
Perfect tincture material! Put it in a bag in the freezer. Freeze the Everclear too.
The freezing and quick swish extraction will not bring near as much Chlorophyll with the good stuff.
Going to agitate and let sit for about 2 weeks, strain and then fill with 2/3 water for a good green juice shot every now and then, small jars would make great gifts!!!
Used just over a cup of material for each mason jar and one bottle of everclear per 3 mason jars
It’s OK, next time!
If your plan is to keep it as tincture for drinking or cooking it will just be dark and have more plant flavor.
You absolutely do not need to wait 2 weeks, 2 hours is more than enough.
The good stuff is soluble in Alcohol rather quickly.
The only thing you get from an overly long soak is maximum Chlorophyll.
@Spiridly @Flying-High this is my first attempt to make something like this so we will see how it works, but definitely a good way to make use of bud rot and trim!!! The 6 mason jars should last me a few years, may even buy more everclear to add to mason jars after the strain and just have a taste of some fire water every once in a while, I’m sure just one shot would do it
@Flying-High also I have been doing some research and chlorophyll has quite a few health benefits, no matter the flavor I’m certain it will do the job, it’s not like I’m going to sip on it continuously
@Caligurl has a recipe thread and says the Extract can hold a certain amount of THC.
A known level of THC in the extract allows proper calculation of dosage per serving in recipes!
For drinking, you need to mix with water at a ratio of 4 to 5 parts to get around 80 proof stuff.
Chlorophyll is fine, only makes a big difference if you are going to smoke or vape the stuff.
Using the alcohol removed oil for potential skin cancer medicine update:
before.
After about a week of keeping an oil covered band-aid on the spot.
Picture is poor, but compare anyway.
I’d say it is slowly making this spot go away!

@Flying-High that is awesome I will keep that in mind. It’s most definitely a wonderful plant with many benefits
Yes, I know someone that put straight coated wax on a cancer spot and within a month it was gone. I’ve made salve for a few people with other skin ailments and it works wonders! I even use it on mosquito bites!
Also, I never god my weed before I use it to make qwet. I just break it up by hand into rice sized pieces.
You can check out my blog here but note, I now use a Source Turbo for extraction. The first part of my blog I just evaporated it in a dish (total waste of Everclear)
I started your thread, but haven’t got totally caught up yet.
I knew you would need a way to reclaim your alcohol if you do this regularly!
A new survival ingredient in my home medical supply arsenal!
I put it on an itchy blister-type spreading rash, where I scratched until the blisters broke and bled.
Seems like it finally stopped spreading and is healing now.
The tincture with the alcohol is excellent for bug bites and stings, cleans, disinfects, and relieves pain.
Thanks for all the help and direction @Flying-High @Caligurl but this young buck is just going to keep it as drinkable alcohol this time around. Probably will enjoy with my hunting buddies up to camp this coming season and like I said between my flower harvest and reclaiming the trim and bud rot with this everclear I will be set for quite a while!!!
6 days after using Cha-Ching for the first time, will feed again tomorrow. Can definitely notice cola sizes increasing @dbrn32 @Deez @Covertgrower @CygnusX1 @HMGRWN @MrPeat
Remember to water it down, you don’t want your drunk buddy to spill all over his face and then catch fire!
So for 28ozs of extract mix with 32ozs distilled water to get below 50% or 100 proof which is flammable.
@Flying-High @Caligurl so I’m impatient and I’m now trying two different methods, the one on the left I filled the rest of the way with cold water making alcohol content around 30% rather than 90% so 1/3 alcohol mixture and 2/3 water. Jar on the right is just the alcohol mixture after straining and what I’m going to do is just add cheap vodka to that one. My question is when I added water it turned milky but you can still smell the alcohol. Is this normal?
