It seems like every time plants begin to flower I have a nitrogen deficiency but the flowering food has less nitrogen than the veg…so is a nitrogen deficiency expected? Do I just let the leaves turn yellow and die?

What’s the NPK ratio you’re feeding when this happens?

This one gets 3 ml canna flora (225) and 3 ml canna veg (315) and canna boost (010) in a gallon every other feeding.
You don’t need much N during flower. It’s not vegging any more and yes, older leaves especially later in flower will turn funky colored and lose green

I also see some red looking on some leaves and starting to get red veins which could be start of phosphorus def and maybe some white tops which may be getting a potassium deficiency. Always need more of these during flowering

How many weeks have they been in flower? They are looking a little faded for sure.

They are a total of five weeks…first flower seen at week 4.
Im new, so let others more experienced advise on my thoughts, when mine were looking a light green i added epsom salt to my water, it brought them back to green again…

So im assuming they are in first week of flower or start of second week. I wouldnt completely cut nitrogen out of the picture this early in flower.When nutrients available outside to the roots are not sufficient, the cannabis plant recycles inside nutrients from old leaves to feed new, developing flowers. That plant is still growing and it needs nitrogen as well as phosphorus and potasium.

Once shes gone through her stretch then you can cut back on the nitrogen. Pretty flowers she’ll be fine. Cheers!

It maybe a magnesium def plants need magnesium to produce chlorophyll u can give it some epsom salts in ur next watering .cause in flowering the plants dont need as much nitrogen they need more potassium and phosphorus and calcium with magnesium

Welcome , follow up by checking runoff PPM numbers an PH I agree plant looks hungry. Good luck moving forward.
