thanks purp , the light does lighten the color. they are a bit darker in real life, but like you said it should be a small issue.
Well the babies are finally starting to look super healthy. The new soil helped. Plus upped the Cal mag a little bit. And did a massive defoliation in them. Last run I defoliated all the time and they just loved it, this run I didn’t bother . And one got so choked out . After removing half the leaves, within 2 days all the new shoots grew to the top and it stopped dying from the bottom up. I’m definately a huge supporter of leaf stripping. I think within a week I might switch to flower. I was going to wait longer but I have a funny feeling there will be a massive stretch. There already bigger in veg then my last run by about 40 percent .
Also that isnt burn on the little one . Its tips are twisted making them look white. There is a tiny bit on a couple but most of it is just the twisted tips
Good call. They are getting into the net quickly. I think a week was a good target. Update pics?
Hey purp been super busy with Christmas stuff and family stuff. Going to snap a few tommorow to show off. There getting so healthy after the bumpy start.
Alrighty peeps , here is my update . They are growing like mad. I really wish I would have had room for a clone room ,because the big girl is insane. They are so healthy and strong . I started 4 more also. I don’t know why because I only have one closet. Still trying to figure if I could make it work somehow. I will check the strains and let ya know later. I just got done folding the tops under after the pics and the big girl spreads out nicely. I definately think I’m going to have to mount my carbon filter on my ceiling and remove my closet shelf and raise the light.
Ok another update. I really wish I had the room to take clones of this gigantic beauty of mine. If I wanted to I know I could have filled my entire closer with this one plant. the new plants I started, I did thinking that since it usually takes a month to mature before it can bud.i figured I could grow them on 12 and 12 no problem. Boy was I wrong. They are trying to bud. That means within weeks those new plants were already mature, Don’t ask me how. So I will just have to reveg the buggers after harvest.
After finding that my largest plant was a genetic hermie and being devastated, i sucked it up and after saving my last grow, I’m hoping to do the same with these 2 . I trimmed all unnecessary branches of my tall plant and left only the main colas, this makes it easier to pick male sacs if they appear. What I learned is that a sac will never grow in the same place twice. It may grow close but not the same location.so if you minimize the areas of attack, you can eventually pick enough sacs to stop the sac growth . My main colas will hopefully get huge now, and the loss should be minimal .my 4 plants that were only meant to grow under 12 and 12 until maturity , did a Copperfield on me and decided to bud almost instantly. So now there about 2 feet tall with half mature buds on them. And there still in solo cups. Its kinda fun to see what there going to produce in such a small area. I will take lots of photos because people just love to see what 12 and 12 from seed will do. my smallest plant is going to have some tight large colas for sure. The nodes are super stacked. I had to deleaf it twice in flower already, because I couldn’t put my hand through it . it was that bushy. But it is now nice and clear and airy. Other then that things are good. I monitor temps , but have barely worried about humidity this time around. It being winter the air is dry so I just leave the runoff from watering them in there trays to add a little humidity. I tend to get strains that are mold resistant , so I don’t need a humidifier or dehumidifier around. I make due during drying and curing. sorry for the long right up guys and gals but had a lot of news lol. Hope everyone had a merry Christmas or happy holidays
Haha those little cup girls stretched out quickly! Id repot them soon. Or they will rootbound on ya. Sucks when they flip so soon, i tried to 12-12 my first month (had girls in flower) and they flipped. Took FOREVER to reveg (some still barely are) n that was a month ago
Lol yea I know , I’m just going to let them go and see what happens. Don’t have the room for a repot right now. I know im wasting a few seeds, but for science it’s worth it lol
anyone know what this is anyone know what this is, it’s only effecting the little plants in the solo cups and a couple random leaves on my big plants. Its a closet grow and there is no way for bugs to get in. It looks like black pepper spots. I got some microscope photos of it to I will.
Mites I believe from the speckled brown. @Myfriendis410 @Mrcrabs can definitely point you in the right direction
Hey @PurpNGold74 @imSICKkid @dbrn32 @GreenJewels .how close.do you think I’m getting by the look alone. The problem is I dont know if they’re the seeds I think they were. So I don’t know the finish date. So I’m just going to go by eye and scope. I haven’t did a scope pic yet ,but trying to get a ruff estimate from the pistols right now.
They look to be right there at the finish line. At this point I’d just be looking with the scope until your trichomes are where you want them.
That’s what I was thinking. I was just trying to time my flush. So I may as well start my flush right away?. Turning this whole thing into oil, since it got seeded.
If I have 9wk flowering plants I cut nutrients at week 7. Basically give them 2 full weeks of water only. I dont pour several gallons at a time or anything, I just stop food and let them deplete the rest of the nutrients left in the coco or in the plant itself.
I agree, monitor trichs and chop when ready.
Yup ur far enough along to be on troch watch
