Sorry Marty, just saw this…
After I started using UVA from HLG, I “feel” like I noticed more frost earlier in flower. I start using it in the 3rd week at 1 hour and start doubling it each week.
UVA causes her to defend herself, Bugbee has a good vid, let me see if I can find it. I think this is the one.
Well damn, this is not the one I found for UVA specifically, sounds like in a nutshell not needed or no results based on different testing methods.
Gonna keep looking, I know he has another video saying UVA is good but UVB and UVC are dangerous.

I was instructed by HLG customer service to run the UVA from the start of flower to the end of flower same hours as the light 12/12. They said to run the UVA the whole way. I have the 2 footer UVA30 so that might have something to do with conflicting information. What size is your UVA? How many watts?
After that video i would say that when i spoke to HLG customer service they said yes that it does work. That it creates more terpenes and THC and resin. They said yes to UVA?

That vid looks fake anyhow. Look at the quality of the HD and its AI or something. A photo-shopped video of dr bugbee.
I don’t know, he makes alot of sense but why would i be told this from HLG customer service. They make lights for crying out loud. They sent me a UVA30 as a gift so why would they try to lie to me to make the sale?

UVC is what they use in those disinfectors. Kills EVERYTHING! Good thing the atmosphere filters it out or we’d be on a dead planet.
It may be the IR that should only be on for half hour or so at a time, dawn and dusk sorta thing. UVA and UVB are in sunlight, best light there is!

Upon 2nd look at that video. He is just referring to cannabinoids and not the overall structure and quality of the flowers. So, he is just referring to the cannabinoids which sounds correct.
