@Nicky Check this out. This is the same rosin as other pic. I left it open overnight to harden a bit, which it did. The color didn’t change much. Then i left in the container a couple days with the lid shut. It turned to something like crumble with different color. It tastes the same and has same high. Plus it’s easier to work with. Is it just drying out? I’ve never experienced that with dabs or rosin I’ve bought. From street and dispensary sources. Unsure of the process going on here.
I think hers is the pro. She’s happy with it but it needs new tip i think.
My buddy, who’s always 2 steps ahead of his thoughts, runs out and buys one right after i told him you’re opinion (and I explained i could get it for him from lookah website cuz he really sounded interested) Anyway, he also already had one that had quit working. Turns out he bought the Pro, not pro plus, and it’s the same as what he had

I never experimented with the different textures because my girlfriend went to resin carts with added terps she buys at the store so I gave up pressing for now. I could buy a source turbo and make resin carts with added terps but then it’s gonna cost me 1000$ + the effort and she doesn’t really care to invest so meh whatever lol I’ll save my self the money for now.
As for rosin, I prefer the crumble or the batter because it’s easy to work with like you said.
I mostly got shatter glass style or the tar type consistency (hardest to work with).
If pressing in small batches I would just use my little straw to smoke right off the paper rather then lose it trying to transfer it.
Looks like your learning lots and hvaung lots of fun with it so keep at it.

Although I’ll say again, hash rosin is a game changer.
