New member here new white widow grow

First time growing. Also a new member.

Ordered 10 seeds white widow . I am on week 2 of this grow. This plant almost died after me watering it too much, and had to revive it twice.

after checking ph levels, I found it to be terribly acidic, now after fixing that and putting in proper soil now is perking right up.

Never grew marijuana

in my life and I’m grateful to be growing and learning. I’m very grateful that I saved this plant.

Thank you very much.

What I’ve learned so far is pH and humidity is very important. I am also using a little bit of miracle grow plant food.

I do not know if anyone else used any of that pump plant food,

Are you growing in miracle grow soil?

I did use that and that’s what almost killed my plant twice. I took out the miracle grow soil and replaced it.

I’m using this expanding soil. It had the more appropriate nutrients.

Never too late for a good comeback story.

Is the 505 a reference to the land of enchantment?

Lookin good. What soil or media did you choose? Good luck. I recommend you spend some time reading through some grow journals, read the ilgm grow bible- you’ll get a good sense of what your plant needs, what you will need, how to care for your plant, and how to identify problems. I learn so much here from simply reading through threads. Nearly ANY question you may have will have an answer here from numerous sources, Along with explanations and suggestions.

Keep your questions and inquiries about your grow all together in a single thread please, it helps you get the quickest most accurate information possible, by allowing those assisting you to gather all the relevant info easily. Good luck!

A few items to consider if you don’t have them already.
If you have any of these things provide details (make-model-specifications) if applicable;

Sufficient lighting - you get what you pay for!

Nutrient supplements - tricky subject (synth/organic/liquid/dry etc)
Welcome to the community.

Good Microbe supplements - microbial life helps break your added nutrients down into compounds that the plants can digest. TPS billions is my go to.

Mycorrhizal Fungus Inoculant - creates a symbiotic relationship with the root system, both parties benefit equally!!! I’ve noticed significant differences in the plants with vs. without. Awesome stuff

Thermometer and hydrometer - monitoring and maintaining environment is a must!

Ventilation/Air Circulation - stale still stagnant air is an enemy!!

Water testers - PH pen and TDS/EC meter. These are critical tools! Accuracy and consistency are important!

Love, patience, and knowledge - these are very hard to come by in a grow room and there are no alternatives or substitutes for these 3 things.

Keep it as simple as possible for your first grow and upgrade as you can. Good luck!

words to live by.
Search forum for dome watering technique, as it supports not drowning seedlings.

Second search, seedling watering days. OG (or somebody) says 7-10 days dry probably.
Mine go a week easy.

My last seedlings got zero water applied to the soil for 16 days. I hydrated the soil upon seed sowing, domes the cups and left it alone.

Hello everybody I meant to tell this to everybody on this but this plant died because I killed it with a miracle Gro and is no longer living you guys can remove it from the thread if needed

I now learned not to use miracle grow and what I did was overwater it and that’s what killed it.

There is a new thread topic on a new grow that I posted
