That’s what I don’t get about people they want to bash something for what they don’t understand!!! Everybody on here has done nothing but help me and point me in the right direction and the people that don’t believe that go to my journal and look where I started to where y’all(ILGM Fam) got me now
FYI it’s not just throw them in water and they will sprout. There are certain conditions that have to be met for that thing to be happy and show you that root!!
No thanks. I found some reputable and trustworthy seed banks that are Veteran owned and nowhere near $20 a seed. The local grow shop told me I made a mistake when I ordered from ILGM. I was hoping he just had a bad experience or something. Nope, he was right. I won’t waste anymore time with seeds from here.
Well then dont let the door hit cha where the good lord split cha!
@ChittyChittyBangin tell em…
No bashing growmie, but soaking your beans for almost 2 weeks is way too long. You’re drowning them. Some beans are more stubborn, but I promise, not a single successful grower, on this forum or elsewhere, leaves their seeds germinating in water more than 72hrs. Even that long, for me, is way too long.
-
24hrs in water, or until the seed cracks.
-
24-48hrs in folded, damp paper towel, in a ziploc bag. Or until there is a ¼-½" tail.
-
Plant seed ¼-½" in medium.
I’ve had 100% success with ILGM seeds this way, as has almost every grower that goes with this method or similar.
But like others have said, si ply drop their customer support an email and they will replace them. No cost. I mean, it’s at least worth it to try. If not, good luck and happy growing.
My thoughts exactly. ILGM is one of the top-rated seed shops in the world. Of course; they’re selling a living thing and nobody can account for it 100% of the time. ILGM comes close with their germination guarantee. If you can’t find it in yourself to actually get replacements then GTF out of here and see above.
I’ve been growing with ILGM for almost a decade and so far have not been dissatisfied. Like everyone else here.
I agree with the others. Im sure in your case they would go out of their way to help had you contacted them instead of coming in here acting like this. This is just a$$ backwards IMO.
@DoneDeal Hello bud of the month entry!
Anyways, if you havent even reached out to customer service about your issue does it make much sense to come and bash them? They advertise the germination gurantee or replacement and even allow competitors genetics on the forum. Ive had issues with beans before and my issue has always been handled in a positive manner. This is starting to seem like one of those ya cant help someone that doesnt want to help themselves.
Using ILGM’s germination method EXACTLY as they show in their germination video, 20 out of 20 were duds. Fresh bottled water, clean pint jar, 72-74 degrees inside the kitchen cabinet. Zero tap roots, one seed cracked open and just a tip poked out, and two weeks later no more growth for any of them.

Chittychittybangin, I don’t want anymore dud seeds.
Crazy how it’s just not fathomable for anyone to get bad seeds from here.
Nobody said you couldn’t get bad seeds from here or anywhere else… everybody’s just talking junk because you won’t call customer service or email them to fix the problem. I’m just saying don’t blame the coach if you lose the game
Its totally possible. And it does happen, which isnwhen you utilize the replacement guarantee. Im sure if you were even skeptical of that strain now, theyll let you choose a different one.
It’s not just me peeps,
Wow!! I gotta ask, what strain is that? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that much frost!
Chocolope ilgm genetics budro
Wow; 2 years ago from an anonymous poster? That’s the best you can do? Despite many testimonials above?
Either contact Customer Support or go away. If you don’t you’ve lost all credibility.
This is from a 2 year old ILGM seed sitting in a cardboard box on my desk for 2 years in the original packaging I got it in. I just stuck it in some coco and watered the seed with full strength Jacks.
Again, your drowning your seeds well before two weeks. Sorry you’re so unsatisfied. I’d at least get the freebie replacements or coupon code they send. Aint losing nothin there. But to each their own. Should you decide to hit up customer service, don’t tell them you soaked your beans for 2+ weeks. No reputable seed bank/breeder would honor a guarentee as that is grower error.
