@CutTheCord did you finish out the build ? Would love to see what you’ve done if you’d like to post a few pics
CB
Went higher and wider, from 48 tall, 27 wide 21 deep.
To 64 x 64 x 21. The 21 is still a bit tight, but for this grow going to deal with it and may need to trim. They seem pretty happy and are about 3 weeks since first flowers.
After making bigger the temp dropped to 68 - 69. So added a couple small fluorescent, that helped.
Man it smells friggin’ wonderful when those doors are open!
Last week gave 1/3 bloom nutes.
Tomorrow giving 1/2 bloom nutes.
I’m not sure when to stop bloom nutes? I figured once the first sign of pistils changing color?
Plus have a bottle of flush that came with Flora Bloom Kit. Maybe use the last week before harvest?
Please let me know any recommendations
Thanks for asking CB @Countryboyjvd1971 ! Please let me know if any recommendations when to stop nutes and flush. Not even sure if I should flush? Some of the peeps on here don’t recommend it.
What I do is stop feeding about 2 weeks before harvest and just ph water them this basically works as a flush forcing plant to use up nutes in soil it will also cause plant to start using stored sugers and what not from the leaves
Again I’m not a pro grower and this is what i do maybe @Majiktoker or @garrigan62 can give you some professional advise @CutTheCord
Oh and grow box looks nice maybe next time one less plant if it’s still too tight bro
Thanks a billion @Countryboyjvd1971 .
How do I know when at 2 weeks out from harvest?
Based on other BB Auto post, I am guessing harvest at 10 weeks?
But is there a something to look for when about 2 weeks out?
I don’t grow autos so you should be alright with the time frame
I watch my tricombes with a jewelers loop min 20x or pocket microscope 60x or better
When they are milky and start to amber I know I’m close brother
my $.02 go look at @Countryboyjvd1971 grow journal and do what he does, lol. Monster plants and yields coming up!
It just makes sense to flush all of those chemicals out of your girls before harvest. I don’t know if there is an exact science on this, but it just seem logical to get as much of that stuff out before harvest as possible. You don’t want that stuff in your smoke or edibles if you can help it? And besides why waste nutrients on a plant that is going to be harvested in a short period of time.
Personally you do not need to flush there is no difference the theory behind it is it makes the buds cure faster due to having less residual nutrient taste or less chemicals in the plant by harvest time, only problem with this is there is no proof that this is how it actually works therefore cannot say it does, and my opinion curing is curing there is no shortening that.
As for a way to tell, watch trichomes with a jewelers loupe (60x - 100x) if you do not have one about 4 weeks after all your pistols have darkened is about when youd usually harvest @CutTheCord
Hey there @CutTheCord, not sure if you have read this but i found it helpful.
Man sincere thanks for all your advise. I am leaning toward no flush at this point. Keeping the bottle of flush that came with the kit to experiment with as get more experience.
Ordered jewlers loupe.
Man I am so thankful for this site and all the advise!
You all rock!
@Countryboyjvd1971 @bob31 @Majiktoker @deb1

I noticed, sweet @Countryboyjvd1971, cant wait to see your next grow
Im just learning too @CutTheCord so when i can help people, it makes me feel really good. And everyone is nothing but helpful on here its amazing to see
Seems to be coming along pretty well. Day 42 from sprout
Can see trichomes on the middle plant with naked eye. And can see trichomes with jewlers loupe on the other 2.
I am curious if they are at different stages and one is ready sooner. Do you just harvest all three at once? I don’t really have another area to take one at a time because of the smell and heck it is 30 deg outside.
If I have to harvest everything at once, I try to let the least developed get to cloudy with little amber unless the most advanced is at 80% amber. The buds start looking a little rough at that amount, unless I just messed something up.
You’ll have to judge for yourself when you have the best mixture of maturation. Just remember that a lot of clear isn’t going to give you what you need. You’ll end up with a nice mix for the whole day.
Separate and label your jars…
Thanks much @FloridaSon! Will try to hold off until the least developed is cloudy. Hopefully it just works out with amber trikes and cloudy. It’s great to have a plan and know what sign is next on list. Keeping separate and labeling for storage makes great sense.
Looking good @CutTheCord
I agree with @FloridaSon about the clear tricombes
Milky = head high
Amber = couch lock the darker the more couch and darker is better for medical benefits but as stated by Floridason it’s your choice
Labeling in good lol
Kry-Kee!
Several leaves with brown spots and necrosis in middle of leaf. It has worsened in last couple hours.
After looking at the Nutrient Leaf Chart. It looks like excess potassium?
- last nutrient feed was 3 days ago. Increased to 1/2 the recommended dose.
- just watered this morning, Ph in = 6.5, Ph out = 7.0.
Any recommendations?
Planning for just Ph’d water for next 5 days. Then maybe go back to 1/4 nutes or skip a week of nutes?
Currently still running light at 24/0. Planning to switch to 20/4 when most pistils are amber/brown.
My guess maybe ph problem 7 is high try watering with ph 6.1 or so and see if you can get run off down a little bit 6.8 max for soil 6.3-6.5 in best good luck brother
