New grower, so far so good with your help. My next dilemma is we are going away on the 12th for two weeks. Should I start the drying process on the 11 th. Or wait another two weeks. I do have someone who can water for me that’s about all.

How many days in actual flower?
The bottom bud is telling me you need to teach your friend not only how to water but mix and pH the nutrients.

I would let them go for longer if the person you got to water can actually be counted on to do it they can use least a little longer in my opinion

Leave them would be my advice. When you go out of town, friend might be able to be on water-only, but I’m with @beardless - friend might also need to know how to add a little food to the water.

@Graysin @beardless with another week before they leave couldn’t he just give it one more feeding himself and then have his friend focus on the final flush while he’s away. Use those 12 days as the winding down period and possibly chop once they return? Less chance of his friend botching something.

Yea you should let them keep stacking. All white and no orange on the pistols they should also start to recede back into the bud. But to truly check you need a jewelers loupe to look at the trichs

A quick crash course on feeding for the plantsitter wouldnt hurt. Nothing too complicated of course. Perhaps let them come sit along for the next couple before u leave.

Perhaps but it looks like there’s more than that to go. Runs the risk of sacrificing yield by under supplying nutrients.
