I’d leave em. They still work, and they’ll fall off eventually

Ok, they sure are taking off, plan on transplant next week, is it a good or bad idea to force flower one now? I have 3 and plan on cloning. @noobius

It really is best to let them veg the recommended 6-8 weeks. If you really wanted I’d let that one veg for at least 3-4 before flowering otherwise u may not get enough to be worth the nutes/electric/time

Here is a progress update!

@atribute2008 Most people do 18/6. As long as your lights are on more than 12 hrs a day they should stay veg. 12 hrs or less and they will flower. I had the same white powder at the beginning of my grow. Probably just hard water.

Ok ill stick to 18/6, its what ive been doin, should i start nutrients when i transplant? Heard good things about foxfarm products. @noobius

I also am using fox farm, the big three right now, and i’m ordering the beastie bloomz, open sesame, and cha ching this week to get them started next week. when i transplanted i waited a week to let them adjust to the transplant, and then started 1/4 strength of the feeding charts recommended for that week. And just slowly ramp it up to full strength over a few weeks. If you go too quick, you’ll know right away when the tips start burning. If that happens just skip a feed, and do just PH’d water and lower the strength on your next feed.

Cool cool, think im just going to stick to the big three for now since this is my first grow, get into more advanced nutes later. @noobius

@atribute2008, 14 hours would be a better minimum light duration to prevent flowering. I use 16/8 as do a number of others including @bob31.

That one lower leaf doesn’t bother me as they seem to get beat up pretty early. The overall appearance is good but I believe they are asking for transplant.

How much water do you use in a 5 gal grow bag after transplant? @Myfriendis410 @noobius

It depends on the size of the plant. If it’s little you can’t soak it because it would never dry out.

Ok, when is a good time to start nutes? @Myfriendis410 on day 6 of vegetative

In a soil grow you won’t want to start feeding until at least 4 weeks. Good soil won’t need anything until flower. Adding nutrients is one of the common problems seen here. The plant will let you know haha.
