Benn having a problem with vegging outside. Right now I get 13 hrs 28 min light outside. Plants I put out to veg outside flowers at this tall.
I’m wanting to transplant in final containers these are what the babies looks like right now. They are under 1000 watt mh light. If I put some of these outside in pots will they veg or flower like the rest? will they veg if I moved some outside?Added 3 more to germinate 1 pink kush cbd 30:1 runtz muffin and blue Gelato 41 I’m thinking both runtz an Blue Gelato I’m gonna have them milky/cloudy triches instead of amber goin for more euphoric kinda daytime so it won’t be couchlock sedation effect.
Found this little guy that popped up overnight by one of my babies. I don’t understand cause I know for a fact when I grew my Golden Teachers I made sure no spores dropped when I harvested them an defenitly no spores were on my clothes after picking. The reammended soil has used perlite in it from mushroom grow but not in this pot cause I put the perlite way after I had popped sprout in that pot. It’s only this pot it’s showing. I’m wondering if this FunGuy will take nutrients away from baby plant any ideas? @dbrn32 @Cannabian @yoshi @Covertgrower
I don’t think it will hurt your plant any
Do you think it could give that plant more nutrients?? I’ve read somewhere that if there growing in soil then it’s good soil but I don’t know personally
You should have kept reading lol. It would have to break down to provide any nutrients. But generally speaking mushroom growth in soil is considered good.
Cool to see! The plant is below and thats just its reproductive part.
Oh okay i get it now. So in other words I should just leave it til it dies so that baby plant will get all of its nutrients? If it for say drops spores will that affect anything? The same soil is used in all the baby plants pots thing that is getting to me is that why just one it decided to pop up? @dbrn32 that’s something new to me I didn’t know that it’s reproductive part @Cannabian
Yes if you remove the shroom before the cap opens it will prevent the cap from sending spores. The fungus still lives beneath the soil
I would have to look up the mushroom or you beed to? Some require a spore print to prove them.
Could be a good mushroom, could be not so good? Some are wood rot fungi others feed off off different stuff.
Its a mushroom, not a big deal as they grow in dirt all the time. I think you would have to compost it to use for nutrients, and one probably isn’t enough.
@dbrn32 @Cannabian the mushroom had ended up dying after I tried getting pic of gills but other words plants are loving soil I think reammendment for soil must have had a spores in it.
Tent is a little dirty from run off but will be cleaned after I transplant them later today. Thinking about moving 600 watt light with the 1000 watt light in 5x5 tent today. Just don’t know what to use for 3x3 tent I may not even use 3x3 this run an have the rest that don’t fit in 5x5 outside. I do gotta figure out how to sew so I can fix zipper on tent

Did a little transplanting yesterday checked them today had to get these pics! All of them are thriving after transplant within a day like they love there new homes.
Outside one’s are doing alot better these ones in tent are gonna be very interesting an alot of work pruning defoiliation an alot of training with scrog net an mainlining but totally worth it in my opinion. All these in tent are runtz muffin an wedding cake. Left 30 gal pot is runtz muffin the right one in 30 gal is wedding cake both big yielders
@dbrn32 @Cannabian @so my puppy got into my plants that are in 30 gal pots but didn’t touch the 2 in 5 gal buckets. All of the ones that she laid in Thinking it’s a dog bed is fine but 1 was shifted on the side roots are fine from what I see had to shift plant in middle but no where near roots had also put tomato cages on all of them so she won’t do it again. I gave it super thrive an kelp do you think she will bounce back? (it’s kinda my fault cause I never had anything covering it to make sure they were safe from cats dogs and any other wildlife so I can’t put full blame on puppy plus I haven’t checked on them in 2 days which I should have lesson learned though) Also hydrogen peroxide mixed with water will that get rid of powder mildew? I found a tiny bit on one plant in 5x5 tent but immediately wiped it off with water the others don’t have it. Doing the samething with water an hydrogen peroxide will that do the trick to eliminate it?
Probably be fine if not damaged. Peroxide abd water solution should kill the mildew.
@dbrn32 I had further inspected plant an come to find out the spot I had used hydrogen peroxide/water mix that white fuzzy stuff didn’t grow back but when I looked more on it there was another cola that had samething but I had found a white tiny bug that had wings on it I had used hydrogen peroxide/water mix again but instead of doing it on the cola that had it I decided to wipe down every bit of it. I don’t know whether that white tiny bug is harmful or not it seems like its only on that one plant. The plants outside are doing fine now had gave them organic nutes with super thrive an finally they had bounced back into good health. Only thing is that one of the plants in 5 gal bucket outside had a little dig marks on it and main cola was snapped off but the lower peice where you normally FIM was still okay just pushed over a tad bit. This time was my cat that did that… Figured my 5 month old puppy would knock while bucket over instead of just digging. Put chicken wire over the tops of the 5 gal buckets too so all of them got protective cover so I’m hoping it will stop them from doing that. Gave that one super thrive maybe it will get better. Don’t know whether I should just go ahead an germinate another seed just in case. Also my og Gelato is basically on 2nd week preflower outside but the all the others that were small only been under indoor light for a few weeks the smaller ones are continuing to veg like crazy because of 14 hr sunlight now is the reason for the og Gelato to preflower is because that plant was older and was under 20 hrs light on for more than a month an the smaller ones since they only been under 20 hrs light for few weeks is the cause of it?
Sounds right. Or maybe just showing a few preflowers from age. Bug sounds maybe like whiteflies. You can Google image for comparison.
I did it looks like it a little bit but today I didn’t see anything in there it was only 1 of them. After I killed that one checked all under the leaves nothing was there so I think I eliminated it. Within 3 to 4 weeks in veg these plants are huge. Bigger than all the plants I have done before at this age especially the 2 in the 30 gal pots. Scrog net is gonna have to be setup tomorrow most defenitly. I just wonder how bigger they will get when it gets flipped to flower when time comes @dbrn32
Got me. I usually do everything exactly the opposite of what you’re doing. Smallish pots and flip 4-5 weeks from germination. I probably couldn’t fit a 30 gallon pot into any of the tents I have. Given enough time I’m sure they could be huge plants if you want them to be.
What is your opinion on how long to veg the 2 plants that are 30 gal pots like 10 weeks or more? An it’s a first for me working with 30 gal fabric pots I had made sure to fim an train colas so there not everywhere. 1 30 gal pot has 7 colas while the other has a slight more @dbrn32
Veg them until they are as big as you would like them.
