Here are some pics. Boy I am having humidity problems trying to get it down to 40%, but with it raining all the time, it is hard to do. I didn’t want to buy a dehumidifier because I don’t think I have long to go. Tell me what you think. I am in 8th week of bloom. @Killadruid, @Midwestnewbie, @garrigan62, @GreenJewels, @Oldguy, @blackthumbbetty, @garrigan62 and anyone else. Am I almost ready, I hope.:herb:

She looks to be getting close. Very nice job. Those buds are beautiful
Do you have a loupe to see the trichomes?

Looks not too far away. Great by the way. :+1:. Bit longer.:v:
I would let it go another week and just monitor her close.

Yes, I thought my Samsung 8+ would be better but it could be me not knowing how to get the best out of it. I haven’t seen any amber yet at least I don’t think I have. Waiting patiently for one to be ready and with my luck all 7 will need harvest at same time. Don’t know how I will handle that. lol Thank you, for your kind words.:herb:

Oldguy, thank you. I know they say when you think it is done wait another week. Those last weeks seem to travel like a snail as far as the plants go but as far as myself, it is but a blink of an eye and another year left me in the dust.:herb:

Time to start flushing and preparing for harvest.

Nice grow, @roseofsharon!

Thank you for responding to my grow. I am a bit nervous not to pull the plug to early but boy I am ready. How long after the flush do I drill the bottom of their trunk and the ice and darkness thing? By the way I am forever grateful for your help deciding on my Aprea buy. Using the heck out of it, like you said I would. I am having a terrible time getting my humidity down. It keeps running up to 65-70 and it should be around 40% now. It is terrible humid here, with all the rain. I have fans going every different direction and when I use the exhaust it doesn’t make a difference. That is why I hope I am almost done. Don’t want to lose everything because of moisture. I keep my saucers empty thinking that would help. Any ideas there I would appreciate. Thank You for all you do to help . :herb:

What’s the daytime/nighttime difference in rh?

Can you open doors and windows to really get the air moving?

Well, you can flush 2 ways: gradually over 2 weeks or all at one go. If I do it at one go, I do it 7 days before, with cold water, just like you did during your grow. Maybe even more intense, though.

Drilling: drill approximately 7-10 days before harvest. I drill just after the last flush, making sure to dry the trunk before drilling

Then, I don’t water or do anything to them, again. The drier, the better, come harvest time.

A 24-36hr dark period just before harvest might also boost trichs.

All of the above isn’t at all necessary, but lots of people do them, if we feel the need.

Oh that is high humidity. Do you have a good fresh air supply coming in?
Like a fan pulling in air from a vent ? When it’s humid in the summer, I have to set a larger room dehumidifier in the room my tent is in. Which is in the basement so it tends to get damp. I also have central air that helps the house humidity level. Ice then darkness for 24- 48 hours what I’ve read varies on personal preference.
Here’s a good link on drilling

I have an exhaust fan that pulls out but nothing from outside unless I open all doors downstairs to outdoors and run the exhaust and hope it pulls fresh air in. Only way I have but that don’t last very long. I need a dehumidifier but don’t have one. I think even though it is Sunday, I am going to drive into town and see what is open. Very little town so there won’t be much open today. I’ll get back to you and Betty.:herb:

If you leave open your grow room door to the rest of the house, as much as possible, that will probably help.

Been doing that for couple weeks now. There is one thing that I did I need to check is I opened the house vent. I thought that would help but that might be part of my problem. I ran into town to see if I could get a dehumidifier today and nothing open that sells that kind of stuff. Big Box stores such as Home Depot or Walmart are about 50 miles one way. I might just order it from Amazon they ship pretty quick. Hope the rest of your Sunday is nice and I forgot to ask where are you at in your grow?:herb:

My current grow is at about 40 days from germination. I cranked up my lights a bit too high, too early, so now I’m dealing with light burn and subsequent Mag deficiencies. Oh, well! I learned the limits of my lights, so no complaints. Plants should recover ok. By mid-June, I hope to have another 7-14 oz of bud.
