New autoflower grower help!

Hmm @PurpNGold74, I’ve used:
“Flawless Finish is scientifically designed to assist in the flushing of accumulated nutrients in flowers and leaves”
I presumed this would occur ideally under correct pH levels in hydro… I’ve watered with only that for a week last time every watering so to speak, actually topping off.

I use two fans one drawing air in and that one for the filter /exhaust fan. Adjusting the exhaust I can maintain temps and near positive airflow. Added the second one for fresh air and it brought down temps. Plus the tent fans.

If that works for you that’d great, some like positive pressure to avoid dust etc but I like negative pressure for smell control

Actually @Nicky none of the ac infinity cloudseries have any “built in” controllers they are an optional accessory that you have the option to purchase or you can buy the complete package that includes fan and controller but they arent built into the fans . I def know lol. I’ve had 4 …not from bad quality but from mishaps from shipping.

Yeah no controller is built in but a T6 package includes the controller etc.
I have one, I think they are low volume fans that are good for low noise but I find with good led lighting in my 3x3 the T6 struggles to keep Temps in check.
I like the layout of the controller compared to the inkbird but the inkbird has much much better control and the fan that AC infinity sells with their packages are low volume so between the weaker silent fan and a lack of control I don’t think I will ever buy one again.

Maybe instead hook a inkbird up to a hurricane

I looked again. I said near positive airflow; I don’t want odor from positive airflow either

I have yet to do my research on inkbird or a hurricane . Learn something new everyday ! I have a t4 and I’m pretty happy with it but I do believe I should have opted for the t6 . Although my t4 does do pretty well at keeping everything in check and I’m in a 5x5 tent . This is my readings at this very moment…

Warm summer day in florida?

Hey not meaning to hijack a thread or anything but I have a question that may also lead to a very informative conversation . What temps and rh does everyone tend to keep their tent , room or whatever you grow in at ? I tend to keep mine at 78-84 during the day and the rh between 45-52 . Temps usually drop to around 71-68 at lights out. Rh is usually around 60 during lights out.

My T and RH #s are about the same. I try to keep mine in a good VPD range.
Here’s a chart I use

@GreenJewels nailed it, closest to VPD is best that being said I live in Canada and its winter so I struggle with humidity even with a humidfior on 24/7 I grow at between 20-40 humidity my whole grow… Fk all I can do about it until I want to grow more plants and spend 200$ on new humidifiers

@Ncgreenthumber I prefer my temps to not get any higher than 88°F most of the times I am able to keep it around that during lights on.
Lights off I’m usually 70ish sometimes less.

@Covertgrower sounds just like me brother. What size tent you in ? I’m in a 5x5 with around 8 plants. A 320xl and 2 104 3500k cobs from optic led.

I’m in a 4x4 with the Rapid LED kit. Cree CXB3590 with 90CRI. They’re turned up to about 75% about 600 watts from the wall out of the max 817W. So I suspect they’re right on the cusp of not being as efficient if I turn them up more.
Realistically I shouldn’t have to turn them up any more though. I’m already losing a battle with hungry plants.
Plant count… uh, about 8-10, I don’t recall exactly how many are in there.

I’m with ya there. Frustrating. I’ve got questions And spent a lot of time trying to figure out how! O well I guess I have to piece it together by reading in the categories that pertain to my questions. Good Luck to ya.

Nice! I didnt know it tried to pull from the leaves. I thought the thought was to remove it from being accessible to the roots forcing it to eat from the leaves. :man_shrugging:t5: Either way we tryna accomplish the same thing. Who is flawless finish made by?

Think about it you drink when you eat… So do the plants. Thus wanting to keep pH in hydro range in my case so they can eat and drink. pH lockout I would think might occur if not pHing the watering being done through flush. I flushed one plant for ten days watering daily but only that added no nute supplements not even hydroguard. But I did watch the pH daily in flush.

But the point of a preharvest flush is to stop them from eating no? Not sure if it was @imSICKkid or @Cyle1 but they went DEEP down the rabbit hole with senasense… or however u spell it

Yeah I love that word lmao senescence. Basically just like stated above. There isn’t really any flush going on as far as an ungodly amount of water being ran through the medium. You just take away the nutrients 2 weeks out and the plant goes into life support mode eating herself. Ph really doesnt matter at that point because the lockout only helps your cause. Seeing as how the plant will only be able to take up h2o.
