No you didnt do anything wrong autos do their thing in their own time, but it’s been about 4 weeks which is about right. I have one in my closet that flowered in 3 weeks. And I’ve noticed outside grows do not get rapid growth like the artificial light can do. Maybe the down side of autos, if they don’t grow quick your yield, suffers. Don’t know if you are north or south, if south with autos you can get in another grow before too cold lol. Maybe next year go with photo period, that grow all spring and summer, before flowering this time next year. Auto are different critters.
I’m growing a Jack Herer from the Auto Mix Pack 2.0 outdoors (cooler than Nevada!) and she’s 2 ft tall with 8 nice colas (I topped at week 4, node 5). I started the seed on July 4th in a 5 gal fabric pot so the plant would be free to grow. I was/am expecting to harvest in 2-3 weeks (maybe 4) based on the info from the seed description. Interesting to hear there’s so much variation to the timing. Does that variance show up within the same strain as well as across strains?
Welcome @scratch41. Lots of great people here. While I am new, one thing I have learned is about variability with autos and NOT to go by the seed description info as it is under perfectly ideal conditions with top control over all variables. Add a couple to several weeks to the time. ILGM states 8 weeks of flowering for Blueberry. I am in week 11 of flowering. Probably 2 more weeks.
Just know your plant and its needs and you will have a great harvest.

I hear you , im trying to get something to vreak out of the ground . Will be a week since I planted my first out of fourth , still nothing .

From this to this in 5 weeks, OG Kush and Jack Herer Auto. nothing but sun and water. its been rough on them cause of the weather. been over 110 degrees for probably a month straight. i have to move them from the afternoon sun. leaves sometime dry at the tips. @702Manny @Dennis62 @PP3121 @scratch41
Your flowering. Is this the same plant from your post about three days ago?
Might be too late, but you may want to LST a bit to open it up for additional bud sites.

Thats the OGK its so hard to move her leaves around the nodes are soo close and condensed. really stiff stem. I’ve been trying LST on the Jack Herer. Remember I’m a first timer, patience is my enemy. i actually was thinking just leave them alone

Here’s a pic. One thing I’ve noticed is some lightening of the leaves at the base of the plant. I’m giving Foxfarm blooming (TigerBloom and BigBloom) nutrients at 60% strength right now but I’ve trended off of the grow (BigGrow) nutrients. Is it necessary to continue adding grow nutrients if the plant seems to be lacking in nitrogen? As I was reading through the concentrations on the Fox Farm bloom bottles it seem that they had nitrogen in them but perhaps it’s not a high enough concentration? As I’ve been reading through the forum, I’ve made sure to cover off on the basics like pH’ ing my water both with nutrients and without. I am watering at between a 6.3 and 6.5 pH regularly. I’ve also got some photoperiods that are yellowing pretty badly so I’m going to give them a shot of BigGrow at the next feeding provided they’ve dried out enough. It’s my first run in a while (and first outdoor and auto flower) so I’m trying to learn quickly as I can.

I hear you. I am trying to bring my first grow to a successful harvest. I was also just planning to let the autos do their thing as I was scared to do LST. However, my grow closet forced me to have to bend them even though they were in their first week of flowering. I did the least bending necessary to get a good light height. I am not sure how much they were stressed.
They are looking good, and everything is learning for the next time. So many things to do differently for my second grow!

In nevada here too , did you start them directly outside once in the dirt ?
first it red solo cup of water, it popped then put in soil in 5 gal pots. but i really have to be careful cause the sun burns them quick, if dont get them in a semi sun semi shade spot by 1pm they would burn @702Manny
Do you guys think instead of LST on the og kush what if i tilted my pot to the side. would affect it ? i see the sun creeping up the bottom of the plant when i do that. @PP3121 @Dennis62

Well I don’t know how lst and that kind of thing works. I let my plants go bohemian, i top once before flowering. Good luck training

Not sure about that. Seems to me they would just develop a slight angle as they realign to the sun and not really opening the plant up to get new bud sites. LST will open up the plant to allow more light and getting multiple “main colas” instead of the one.
I will definitely be doing this technique in my next grow from the earliest possible moment.
