Need help with AC Infinity T8

I have an AC Infinity T8 with the 67 series controller. I was wondering if anyone could help explain how the settings work in the app. The high temp trigger, low temp trigger, high humidity trigger, and low humidity trigger. I’m trying to set the parameters and it is confusing on how the fan operates unless I’m confused on what they actually do. I’ll set an example.

Lets say I want to keep a temp of 75-80 degrees
I set high temp trigger to 81 degrees so if it gets to 81 degrees the fan will kick on or increase speed to exhaust heat.

Then I set the low temp trigger to 75 degrees so if tent gets down to 75 degrees i want it to shut the fan off so it doesn’t exhaust my heat, but what happens is if it falls below 75 degrees it kicks the fan on and exhaust the heat.

So I obviously don’t have an understanding of how these parameters work or what they mean.

If anyone could provide me with any insight that would be greatly appreciated. I tried finding videos on it, but I can’t find any that explain the actual operation of it.

Hi I run a 67 controller I think you will like it… I turned the minimum temp n rh settings off and set the fan speed minimum at 2 that keeps the fan running all the time for some airflow.
Then I set the auto max temperature on 78° and the rh to 70% during veg and 60% flower

Ok, I will shut off the minimum speed for temp and RH. Those features are what were really confusing me. Like why would someone want it to speed/up if they fell below set parameters. I assumed the minimums would shut the system down so it doesn’t exhaust your heat/RH

Do you have the Controller 67? Or the one that comes with the T8? Biggest difference is with the Controller 67 you can set minimum fan speed.

The high temp settings are intended to exhaust hot air out of the tent when triggered. Low temp is meant to draw warmer air in from the room/environment. I finally learned that if I controll the environment temps and humidity of the lung room I can just set it to 3-4 and leave it alone.

I think it would be useful if you had your setup in a cold place and had to run a heater, or if you were running a humidifier outside the tent and had the minimum set to come on if it’s to dry

Well I ordered the T8 from Amazon and it came with the 67 controller and I didn’t even notice that until I was trying to look up videos and I was like wtf my controller is differnt than that lol.

Tough for me to control my lung room as it’s in a basement that is around 300sq with no heat source in it.

Ahh ok that makes sense then. My lung room is a 300sq ft basement with no heat source.

I’m in a spare bedroom now and relying on the house hvac to regulate the room, I have to fight with the room getting to hot or the rest of the house having ice sickles :laughing: it’s a pita but what I have until I get my growroom built with separate hvac… good luck :+1: if you have any more questions feel free to tag me like this @MeEasy and I’ll try to answer or point you to someone else I think can and tag me in if you do a journal
