Outdoor container grow. Godfather OG., First time growing this strain (bought seeds here) and it will not be the last. Also first time using advanced nutrient brand. Plant is a early flowerer , good producer with hard dense buds with no bud rot. About a month to go for harvest but I’ve noticed some branches close to the top that are looking sickly. They are losing their hardness and it looks like their dying. This is my third year being a deck grower and I think I’m decently knowledgeable on outdoor grow. This one has me stumped, advice would be greatly appreciated.
The plant looks good. The buds might of started lie dense little baseballs but ones they reach ripeness and start to pump and swell they will become alittle more squishy. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
Happy farming…
@HippieRunner1 is the man with the outdoor answers…
Mr Hipp Runner, I really think you for the advice. Im just a 64 year old deck grower I have a Dosido I’m growing as well but its nothing compared to The Godfather.
You have two different leaves on a plant Fan leaves and Sugar leaves. Fan leaves are the big ones and sugar are the ones around your flower. As your buds mature the Fan leaves turn yellow and die because the girl is concentrating on her buds. Its normal and one way to judge when its getting close to harvest. Cat
