My very first Seedling

This is the seedling from the first picture. And I’m glad to report with you guys help I now have ten others and they seem to be doing well. I’m just wondering how much longer before I need to transplant them?

I’m going to be upgrading my grow room this weekend also.

P.S. The picture was taken right after I watered them lol no more overwatering

I transplanted these two first one in front is my oldest and the one in the back started looking rough so I went ahead and transplanted it also.

I was wondering are these 3gal fabric pots alright for this stage?

Hi, Your pots are ok at this stage, you might need to go to 5 gal pots later.

David.

How old are these girls ? Mine are two weeks and I think they are growing slow.

They’re 3 weeks but I’ve got others that have almost caught up with them and they’re only 2 weeks.

I have one that was growing really good then all of a sudden it started dropping and the ends of the leaves turned yellow. What the heck happened I haven’t done anything different? I’m about to check it now I transplanted it last night and I hope that might have been the problem

I have the same thing with one that’s yellowing. For me I think it’s because either the roots at the bottom cannot take advantage of the food that is in the medium near the top of the plant until I water from the top. I let the pot dry out 70%. The young stalk I buried had not grown roots yet. Maybe too dry. I’ve only watered once a week. It’s been 17 days. I had two seeds that germinated slowly those seem to be be slow growing too.Uploading… pic won’t upload. :frowning:

Thank you for telling me how old your are. Maybe I need to be patient.

Mine are working on their third and fourth node also.

Ii have a seedling after transplanting it became drooping

I have about 40 seedlings trasnplanted after that the started to droop Alil some seem dry up. Also I don’t have any light on them I want to put my plants outside right now they inside

I can’t get anything to upload anymore either, it’s been like that since the past weekend.

I got one to upload with great effort Mon., but it’s not worth it. Kind of sad because I used this site as a journal & personal reference

I don’t know what the heck’s up with this site but I’m glad to hear that it’s not just me, and I wanted to let you know that it’s probably not just you having the uploading problems either

Thanks for the info. Pics make this site Awsome.

How is it looking so far?
This my first grow they staring to look yellow and droopy i just transplated them 4 days ago… what can i do to make them happy again. HELP PLEASE.

Could be the water. Looks like you are using something like promix. If it’s promix water should be around 6 ph, soil would be 6.5 -6.7. Tap water?, then you need to let your water sit overnight to let the chlorine evaporate.

finally the pic uploaded.these are seventeen days old.

So what do i do and yes i been using tap water also the soil is MG

I had a friend show me pics of plants that were two weeks old grown in mg and they were way bigger than mine. I just bought a bag yesterday, I plan to start two AK-48’s just to see.

Well, first you need to fill a few jugs with water and set them aside for 24 hours. If you live in a densely populated area it’s possible you may have real heavy duty chlorination going on. Chloromines. It’s when they use other chemicals to bond with chlorine so it will stay in the water at a higher concentration. Home Depot has a filter for that. A grow store should also. I bought a water test kit there and found that I had low chlorine so overnight was enough time for it to bubble out. You could ( with no chlorine) run enough water through your pot to get enough in your tray to test ph. 6.5 to 6.7 is good for soil. Then you could adjust with ph adjusted water .

I have a 7 gallon Brewing bucket with a spigot on the bottom that I keep in a corner and I just draw out when I need

by the time I get to it all the chlorine is out, it’s awesome, I highly recommend it, plus I don’t have to have a million milk jugs laying around

I have been using the same exact method, spray bottle and all. Here are a couple of mine at day 13. I did use bigger pots.
