Grab a small branch or something that appears to be coated and swirl it around in some water. Trichomes will still be there wpm for the most part will not.

I’ve never tried blowing it off or seen it on dried material. Just on plants mid grow where a quick finger swipe will verify that your day has been ruined.

I can’t really see anything in the pics . You might could do a bud wash on it if it’s not dried yet. I think you mentioned it drying too much….

So i stired it in a small glass of water… nothing came off it and the bud still looks lighter than the rest… cant say white cause its now wet

So the vote is to toss the whole plant correct?

Its like some of the buds not all… it looks like inwas sanding drywall in the room and the dust got on some

Hard to tell from the pics but sounds like some I had this last summer.
Mine was bug skins, blew off and acted like some white powder :upside_down_face:
I’ll see if I can find a pic and you can compare :green_heart::metal:t2:
Don’t toss it yet :sunglasses:

Hate to say it, but if was mine I’d blow it off and enjoy :green_heart::metal:t2:
The pics I see don’t look alarming :person_shrugging:t2:
I pulled some bud rot off a bud today and keep on moving :face_with_peeking_eye::upside_down_face:

After looking under a microscope and seeing it look like crystal hair. We decided to toss it. Heart breaking it was 8.5 oz. Also went and cleaned the room with bleach water just to make sure
