@beardless yeah that is a bit cheaper than amazon but i wonder what their shipping charges are? I was getting 4 packs with 2 in each pack so 8 bricks total for $78 with free shipping because my prime membership so its not too bad compared to what i was spending on the rehydrated stuff
Shipping can add up. I think it was close enough after shipping to to still go with HTG. If I can avoid amazon I do. Bezos doesn’t need my $

I got my humidity under control by putting the dehumidifier outside of the tents.

Open the doors in your tent and get rid of the humidity once in awhile. Try not to water it so much.

That 800 watt light is so bright. I have to start turning it down to take pics. The light yields. When I got it I was trying to get something as close to a 1000 watt hps. I think I did pretty well. Yields are similiar.
So I put one of the 3 Tropicana cookies that I’m growing this run in a 5 gallon grow bag and the other 2 in 3 gallon. All grown in a coco /perlite 70/30 mix. Fed jacks and silica daily. Now I know the only way to truly know this is to use clones from the same mother but I did a little experiment to see if the 5 gallons would make a difference. Now the 5 gallon plant has produced more than the other 2 plant’s combined in the 3 gallon and the buds are superior by a long shot. Could this atleast in part have to do with the fact the plant was in a 5 gallon grow medium rather than 3 gallon? These are some pics the plant in the back middle is the 5 gallon

5 or 3 gallon. Many say 3 is adequate for indoor. Other say bigger pots produce bigger plants. My sense is the latter would be the case. I think with soil this would even be more of the case.
I have wondered about this with coco and Jack’s. My thinking was coco and frequent fertigation the difference should be less. Also, auto vs photo may be different. If autos generally have a shorter life span than photos, the root ball may be smaller.
My current grow is using both 3 and 5 gallon rain science bags. Another wrinkle is the 3 gallon will be used with an autopot. The results won’t be determinative but will be interesting to see what happens.
