Looks great, very close, I’d probably give them another week, maybe 2 if you want more couch lock.

Scoped them again tonight for the hell of it just about there. Almost 50/50. Thinking I’m chopping Christmas morning if not Saturday. Going to keep a close eye on them. Really don’t want them going much further.

It is isn’t it!:man_facepalming::man_shrugging: I lost two weeks catching the covid. Still trying to catch up on what day it is. Haha. @MeEasy @SilvaBack203 @J.Gro @Hellraiser. When you guys are come up to cut day what’s your opinion on when your last flush should be. From what I gather there’s two schools of thought. Either let it dry out to cut down on drying time. My only gripe with that is I plan on reusing my soil for next round. I decided I’m going the bed route full living soil the whole nine. Also with it being winter and having the heat running my house is extremely dry. Or should I give them one good last flush before I cut. I know technically I really don’t have to flush especially since the past couple weeks the only things I’ve been giving them is molasses, coconut powder, aloe and mammoth p. It’s just it’s time to water again and I can really tell by the rh in the tent. It drops down into the low 40s. Where as after I water I’m in the high 50s low 60s at night.
Also I plan on using my tent to dry in. I’m planning on cutting the plant and just hanging it upside down in the tent. I figured I should keep the pots in there as well as it should keep my rh in that 60 zone if I wet the pots down pretty good. I’ve been messing around with the ac infinty controller on the auto settings. And it’s been keeping the tent pretty stable.
I guess what I’m asking what do you guys do? One last question, what’s everyone’s opinions on splitting stems?
I really have to thank y’all as you’ve been a major help with all your experience.

This gonna be my 1st indoor grow so I really can’t help. My plan is 2 continue watering with Fish shit and harvest at night time. I re use my soils but 4 outside

There’s no need to flush when growing organic. I live in the desert and it’s super dry here so I like to water them the day before I cut them down so they are full of water it adds a little time to the drying. I’ve even hung them for just two or three days then cut em up and put them in paper bags or large Rubbermaid tubs to slow the drying time even more. You just have to move the buds around a couple times a day opening the tubs or bags burping them is technically what you are doing

Yea I feel you. I feel like inside versus out are definitely two different worlds. Not sure if I’m even going to go back outside this summer. Lol am I kidding I’m sure I’ll do a caliper. I’d really like to do some autos with com and their line. Or reuse the soil the other plants I culled earlier in this grow with jacks. Im going to reuse what I have in the pots to start a no till 3x3 bed inside. The more I read about it. The more I see the challenge and tinker abilities with cover crops and what not. I also recently found out from a very credible source the mites that I have in my soil are beneficial. I literally just about three the kitchen sink at them and it seemed it did nothing at all. Like I could hear them laughing at me. Hahaha. The mites are phytoseiulus persimilis. They are a micro-arthropod that feeds on fungus and mold. Supposedly super beneficial and people actually buy them. I also really don’t want to loose the dynamic micro life that I built. Along with the dozens of earth worms I’ve added. Also a 3x3 bed I’m sure is going to use a decent amount of soil. So I can use it as fill and start my no till with roots already established. Figured I’d at least have to break them up pretty good to amend the used soil. And mix it with the new.
Now the next big decision is build a soils 3.0 or stoneington blend. Overall pretty happy with both mixes. This next round I have a little better idea how to prepare and stay on top of top dressing and supplements going into flower which I think was one of my major down falls this run. But overall I’m pretty happy with my out come so far. Still not there yet. I’m one of them people if it can go wrong it will. Murphy’s law should be named after me :joy::joy::joy::rofl::joy::joy::rofl::rofl:

@MeEasy Thats what I was figuring just nice to hear out of someone who’s done it for years. You know. Give them a good watering and keep the pots in the tent during the drying period to keep the rh up. I feel likes it’s always easier to drop it to a desirable level versus trying to raise it. Like I said before I’m just super nervous about loosing terp profiles that I built. They stank stank, in a good way of course.

If the pot isn’t enough to keep the rh up I’ve hung wet towels in there and even poured water on the floor of the tent to add moisture

My thoughts as well, totally different way of growing, no flush and don’t let it get too dry.

Ditto to all you great minds! I finally moved a humidifier in the tent since I killed enough clones to make room. That and two wet towels, plus lowering the exhaust speed, I can get RH up to almost 50% and temps are warmer.

@MeEasy knows my woes. I have one that I can flower (Tangie OG), two for clones (Blackberry Chem and Trainwreck) and one that is probably a total loss (MAC). I’ll top MAC to see if I can get a clone.

To add to my “too late to edit” post. @Hellraiser gave me an excellent how too but the one component needed wanted 1/3 of the cost in shipping. I am scouring eBay and Craigslist but the as is pictures are nasty. “ I tried a grow and gave up “ stuff.

I am going to try @Newt approach. Just waiting on two deliveries.

Peace be with you.

Sorry for high jacking your thread!

@JaneQP not high jacking at all the more info the more people the better. It’s actually very welcomed. I’m always up for learning and never turn down good info. I’m just trying to figure out what this component is. @Hellraiser I’ll have to go through your journal to see. Thank you ladies and gents for the much welcomed feedback.

The EZ Cloner 25 is the component - I did find an online horticultural shop that has a flat $15 shipping rate in the US. Easier pill to swallow than $25.99.

Here is what I got from Hellraiser:

My cloning process is very simple and 100% successful for me, always have nicely rooted clones within 2 weeks and often at 10 days, never had a cutting not root with this method.

What I use:

  1. Clone King 25
  2. Clonex Cloning Solution
  3. Clear Rez

My Process:

  1. Sterilize the Clone King by filling with hot tap water and a cup of bleach, let run for 4-8 hours.
  2. Dump and rinse Clone King, sterilize cloning collars (can do a quick hot water/bleach rinse)
  3. Fill Clone King with water to under the sprayers
  4. Add 30ml of Clear Rez (keeps water clean of bacteria - this is a sterile method)
  5. Add 60ml of Clonex Cloning Solution
  6. Adjust ph to 5.6-5.8
  7. Take cuttings and insert into a collar and place on the Clone King
  8. Plug in Clone King, keep under low lighting, walk away, leave it be
  9. Come back 5 days later and add 20ml of Clear Rez, good time to check for roots but probably only see nubs at this point. Walk away, leave it be
  10. Come back 5 days later and check for roots, if fully rooted than plant your clones. If not fully rooted or want more roots then add 20ml of Clear Rez and let them go a little longer.

Blue Dream cuttings placed in Clone King

1st root check at 5 days to add Clear Rez

2nd root check at 10 days, no more Clear Rez added as they are ready to plant

Thank you for the info it’s greatly appreciated. @Hellraiser his how to’s are so easy to follow and always seems to lay everything out in fool proof layman’s terms. I know his entailed journals have helped me like many others.

Yeah @Hellraiser always takes the time to thorough explain everything.

So I will be trying to root some clones using @Newt ’s approach since there were no shipping charges on any items. Call me thrifty?
