Sometimes it takes a while to get them to change color but once they start it usually pretty fast daily I

@Countryboyjvd1971… woohoo is right! I want an upbeat high too… and I need weed. I’m going to check again tomorrow and everyday. Just little more amber, not sure yet. I’ll take the plant with most gold pistils and white trichomes then the other can get little more gold pistils & stronger, idn 
Some girls are 2 wks apart, so maybe they’ll come right after each other, that would be great! I’m getting even more excited now…

I would take one down earlier and let the rest finish till you get the amber your looking for

I smoke all day everyday day start a 3am when I head to work lol
And ends when I crash for the evening
Anyway that’s what I would do harvest the one with the most amber right now if your around 15-20 % and that can be your day time smoke then you have a little to smoke as well once it drys enough
And you can still let others go the course

You’re just like me!! Lmao… I smoke whenever it wears off, which is all day and evening till I fall asleep then I wake up 4 hrs later or every 2 hrs till I smoke again. Sometimes I’ll get up or try to grab 2 more hrs sleep if possible, it’s a vicious cycle (no sleep) but I’m ok, least of my health problems. I’m gonna check the trichomes this morning and decide what to do. I know I’m taking something, I’ll let you know, might need more advice and really appreciate you! I use to smoke before work every day and I don’t want to tell you what my job was and where I retired from… you would just die if you knew!!! this country is such a contradiction!

I’ve met all types and many cops over the years that said they would smoke if not for the fear of loosing thier pensions
I need it to sleep as well if not I’ll be up every hour or so @bonnie1 and FYI my son is trying to get on with the state police hahaha

@Countryboyjvd1971… prison……anyway, I got scared and only took two branches with a row of very small buds undeveloped. I’m gonna set up rack I have and dry them to see how good they are like that, that’ll give me some idea and can get stoned, probably …the trichomes aren’t white enough, I don’t think. They all need water, so I’ll go back in a bit and check further. Need to look at resin pics again. I’ll get a good branch later, and txt back, maybe a pic…

@Countryboyjvd1971… no, no… just administrative, however I worked in admin. security for awhile…what a trip, a lot of the C.O.s are corrupt…Anyway, I dried some of those lower branches already, but were more leaves and really underdeveloped and I got off, not for long but I couldn’t believe it, so these I just took are more developed. I have them drying clipped to rack, took leaves off. Didn’t take pic, I’ll wait for more amber. I’ll let you know

Hi Bonnie. Those trim leaves will get you by just fine. After all, back in the day that’s pretty much what we smoked 
I’ve just made my first batch of cannabutter and brownies from trim. Excellent!!! Also been smoking some and looking forward to the buds as the trim is so good. Hang in there as the wait is worth it

Anyway you should get a pollen shaker or bubble hash bags for the popcorn bud and trim you’ll e surprised how much kief is on that and how much hash you can make with it lol Woohoo waste not want not after all

@SmoknGranny…love that name …yes, I’ve been smoking the leaves and real underdeveloped buds, I just fell asleep for 15 minutes and I never take naps, so yeah, I know it’ll be good. Gotta bunch of leaves now. I’m gonna smoke them. Would like to know about brownies but the butter doesn’t sound appetizing to me, but idn:woman_shrugging:I want to know all the tricks and use every last bit of the plants

Even at my age I’m learning new tricks😊 I’m just getting into the game after a long absence. So much has changed. My friend who’s been growing is retiring after this harvest so it’ll be up to me to pick up the slack. ILGM is a wonderful & supportive family.
And yes, the cannabutter may be an acquired taste but I’m looking at different uses for it that may be tastier … like my hot fudge brownie sundae. Now that worked out real nice:drooling_face:

Bubble hash bags pollen shakers and pollen presses all available on Amazon
O have 1 gal bubble bags about 20$ good for doing about 1/4-1/2 ounce runs I have dry pollen shaker as well also avout 20 buck on Amazon
You want to freeze the product first weather it bud or trim
Basically with the bubble bags you’ll use watervand ice to remove the kief( tricombes) with agitation you’ll have 4-8 bags with different micron ratings to collect the hash
With the dry shaker (pollen shaker ) you put frozen trim in shaker with a couple clean coins or similar item I use quarters myself and you’ll shake it for about five minutes or so

I should add dry ice is another way to process the trim and what not but you still need the bags of dry shaker
FYI what I showed you all came from trim and the loose popcorn buds

@Countryboyjvd1971… my niece lived in New York and worked for the Mets… then she moved to Orlando where my older sister is and works for Orlando Magic, making 100k at 30 yrs old, not too shabby. We all love our weed, the whole family smokes except my mother, She still walks around saying, “what’s that smell” I’ll take a pic tomorrow, maybe more amber. Making hash sounds hard. A lot involved but I want to do it, just not now. I still need jars and scale, another pair shears, the list doesn’t stop. I liked your scale, that’s the kind I want. What’s name and where did you get it?

It’s not that hard with a dry shaker it’s a bit more work with the bubble bags but it’s a different grade of hash lol
