I keep telling myself if one setup can do 10-12k/ year why not put something back into it

27gal totes are about $10 each at home depot. I started with 2 plants per tote, because that’s how many seeds I had. Now that I’m getting clones, it is 6plants per tote.

That’s way too many per tote

Also good morning?

@Grandaddy013 what’s the life span of those totes? Inquiring minds and all.

You can bury one, come back 100yrs later, dig it up, and use it again. I haven’t been using them long. @peachfuzz has been using them longer. They are plastic, which last a loooong time

May be, but that’s what uncle @peachfuzz does. I’Ve grown in 20g trash cans before. One plant 2lbs. This way, looking for the same amount of harvest in less time. That’s the purpose of more plants, shorter veg time.

@Grandaddy013 I’m sorry I enjoy messing with people.

Thank you for explaining that tho, it will be helpful for those who actually question any growers actions.

Your single 4x4 plants were very impressive tho, even though they take a lot of time to produce.

Profit = yield/time -expenses in this industry

I run 4 air stones per container with plants. I do not use them in reservoir.

This is my air pump. One for each container

I run 4 air stones per tote, regardless of how many plants. If you have the pump and diverter, what’s the price of another air stone or 2. I don’t think you can have too many, but you can definitely not have enough. In hydro, or it seems to me, that 2 of the MOST important things are having enough oxygen to the roots, and keeping your water 68° or below. Other things matter a lot, but without these 2, they don’t matter much. If everything else is great, it won’t matter if your roots are not happy

Nah, just make sure all the lines from the manifold are the same length. The. You will have an even push to all the stones

Dude ride out with your current gear, if you get something decent on your initial investment then put 30% profit back into the business

In a few months you’ll be able to advance your setup again.

Then your only decision will be if you want to clear out another room to expand the operations
