Clay pot was 5 gallon
I posted pics in an earlier post of the earlier plant I harvested root ball from about 2 weeks ago and cut a piece of pizza out of the soil too.
I will pull that last one and take pics to as I want to look at that as well.

Seeds breaking ground for round 3
One of these will be grown in worm casting with perlite and granular Diatomaceous Earth mixed in.
I’ve read about using worm castings as the grow medium so I’m going to give it a go. Should be interesting.
I will start a separate journal for this attempt.
So far 6 of the 9 have broken ground even the one in worm poo and boy is that pot heavy compared to the others.

My second HLG 600H light is arriving today so there will be 2 in the 8x4 1/2 x 7 tent and should really fill up the tent with food for the plants through the finish. The one in there now is ok for the size they are now but I’m having to rotate them from outside to inside to even out the coverage but with 2 I won’t have to anymore.

The End

Since my first grow is complete I will be starting a new journal that will cover grow #2 which is currently vegging as well as grow #3 which are seedlings and one of those I will be using worm castings as the medium for the entire grow to see if they will finish without having to use any additional nutrients.

Hello all, This journal will chronicle my first and maybe my last attempt lol using worm castings as my main ingredient in the growing medium. I mixed up worm casting 75% and the remaining using equal parts of perlite and granular Diatomaceous Earth and placed the mix in a 1 gallon fabric pot. Hello @Midwestnewbie I do have the WeDryer. I have used in to dry 3 plants each a week apart as that’s when they ripened. I’m sure you’ve seen the videos online but if not it has 4 zippered bins/sections for placing your wet trimmed branches / buds. The top section has a little smaller headspace as that’s where you install the square carbon filter and on top of that the computer fan and that sits flush relative to the top of the outside of the WeDryer.
