Nice reply, Pig. My question is this…how do you overcome the concerns of law enforcement to place the order for known strains?
I’d like to have the known strain for ALL the reasons you have listed above. I just can’t seem to get my mind past all the horror stories that I’ve heard about ordering seeds.
Hmm…with the fear they’ve caused me to have on a daily basis, perhaps THEY are the terrorists?
I had considered a box before, but they require ID and a permanent address that matches the ID.
I never had to worry about the smell & tell before because of my backwoods location. Being more or less a slight recluse, family is really all that comes around so no worries on the tell.
I learned to not concern myself with things beyond my control. I give that to God and move on. Ordering seeds always felt like throwing myself off a cliff, expecting him to protect me because he said he would.
Your quick response (good timing both of us being here) has helped my train of though find a possible solution.
As I will be moving this summer, I will have to invest in a good air scrubber because I’ll be losing my cherished seclusion 
. The plus side is no more renting. Bad side, if I get popped there we risk losing long held family property.

The blue light colour is associated with the metal halides, the yellow is the HPS.
normally the halides are used for veg and the HPS for flower but either can be used for both, it may affect the yield a bit but sometimes it is what it is Ashley
Is your ballast designed to run either type bulb?
Ashley you won’t see it but the plant does see the colors ?
If you worried about the Law than you shouldn’t grow at all period ? Four plants are less is a mister meanor , you bond out and grow more to pay your Lawyer , but you can used your regular address with an alias name , that simple and stop worrying about the law , if not you will always be paranoid and it’s not comfortable .

Under normal conditions, I don’t concern myself with the law. Ordering seeds has concerned me since I saw my first High Times in the 80’s.
I enjoyed Skunk back then and have always wanted my own, but I felt like it’s just an invitation for trouble. I love the fuel tasting strains too.
I’ve never sold due to a promise I made to my dad after he got popped with around 40 girls. Come to find out, the guy he got the seeds from turned him in to help save his own ass when he got popped over a stupid possession charge. So, no coming up with lawyer money that way. (It was real tempting last November when I got a paraphernalia charge because I wasn’t wearing my seatbelt while I was going to help my son with something.)
“No good deed goes unpunished.” I used to get mad at my dad for saying this as I felt it was just a selfish cop-out. I’ve since learned it is true. Doesn’t mean don’t help when you’re able, just be prepared for possible unexpected problems when you do.
Like I said, I think I’ve been helped with an idea and I am hoping to get some Skunk and Sour Diesel. Also hoping that Skunk 1 is what I remember from the 80’s. Super Skunk was a disappointment for me. Just not the same.
Not paranoid really. Just trying to stay away from State food. Been there. Done that. Didn’t enjoy. 
My girls look like they growing ok. Could be better tho. I’m having issues with my light bulbs. I ordered the metal halide 400w for veg. Should be here by Tuesday. I learned a lot so far an very thankful for everyone’s help.

I used this reflective vapour barrier for my walls. Plastic vapour barrier underneath then this over the plastic. Will bthis e good or bad?

I’m not. My ph up an ph down has not arrived. It in the mail. But I have the ph meter and a TDS meter, I haven’t used them yet either. I should be learning how to used them. I’ll get on that today. I know it is very important to have the correct ph.
If its something like this…
…when mine came it had to be adjusted so don’t trust it out of the box!
Find the pH of a known liquid, like Coca-Cola or something you can look up and it comes with a little adjustment knob
Also a good is the swimming pool / fish tank type of adjustment with the drops and the little tube, they work well and are very easy to use
