Looking great, @Toobs360! This is going to be a heck of a sweet haul if you keep this up.
I just can’t tell if it’s time to harvest yet! Bare in mind one of my plants (the sativa) is two weeks younger due to a snafu on my part. I was told the leaves should be turning yellow when it’s time but all my trichomes appear very cloudy now…thoughts?
Im not sure on harvest time. But those are some lovely gals. Whi was the seed bank?
If your trichs are all cloudy then you can harvest anytime. I would wait another week to see if you can get some amber in there, but it really depends on your preference. Do you want a heavy couch lock high, then wait for amber trichs. If you want a daytime high, you’re ready now.
Friend hooked me up with them
Congratulations! Im (hopefully) on my way to my first of many. Hope u enjoy ur fresh bud bro
Congratulations on your first harvest!
Question guys: when I “burp it” for the curing process, I smelled it and it almost smells sour. Is that normal, will that dissipate or am I doing something wrong?
The smell will change many times as it cures. Don’t worry, you’l have good smelling weed once the cure is done.
Love to see nice, full mason jars! It looks great, @Toobs360!
Update: well, the bud has been fantastic!
A few notes for those that are following along…
A good problem to have but the indica I grew (ghost cookie), is way too strong for me. It actually caused some anxiety. I also found a few seeds in it, I cause she went hermie towards the end.
The sativa a grew (Stella Glue) is perfect. Gentle high, makes me relaxed and at ease. I used the trimmings from both plants to make my first cannabutter. Made some chocolate chip cookies with it and for the first time in I don’t know how long, I could go to the damn grocery store without having to take a Xanax!! I was just calm and mellow. Not baked or stumbling, I guess you could say I got to feel normal again.
Anyhow, it’s been quite the adventure. I’m debating whether or not to grow again. I know I need more light and better temp control but the extra gear takes $ and the bills come first
But what a journey so far!! I want to thank each of you for your advice, support, and frankly, your kindness.
Thanks for the feedback. This is good to hear. I hope you’re able to cut the GC so that you can enjoy it somehow!
