Correct!
Once you do it a few times you’ll get used to it. Sounds more confusing than it actually is.
So after looking at the chart bringing it up to 45 DLI should be the peak in veg, then lowering it back down in flower?
There are competing views on this. I follow nickys side of the argument, only he pushes his plants harder then my environment allows. I end up around 37-45 dli over 18 hrs then in the last two weeks I cut back my light time by 2 hours.
Do you keep it at that same light DLI for the entire veg growth?
I dont really start measuring my DLI till they show sex. Ive had a few good and few bad rounds with my light so I stick to my method during seedling and early veg. I start with my ts1000 at 100% 30 inches above till after 1st week of seedling, then transfer over to my 3x3 under fc3000, 50% @ 19 inches till 3rd node after that 75% until stretch, soon as the stretch starts I run light up too 100% shoot for as close to 45 DLI as I can get without over heating tent. So I guess no, I dont. Like I said earlier, still winging this part. ![]()
How do I know when stretch is happening?
Here is a good thread to read @Sammys
Exponential growth, you cant miss it.
That’s the same one doc mentioned ![]()
My fault , I completely missed that
Good link @Docnraq
I dont see anything concerning
Did a little bit of research and thought the same. Hopefully no nutrient deficiency coming, or…bugs!
Leaves age and get course in texture. Doin great sammy
It gets easier the more you grow.
Appreciate it, gotta ease up a bit
I understand, alot riding on it. First grow I spent more time checking on the plants then anything else. I even wore out the velcro on my viewing window
Haha I feel the same way
