My first grow doing 2 clones of white widow

@gatekeeper… watering alone, will raise the RH inside your tent. I use a VICKS humidifier to keep my RH up where I need it. Bought it at wallword for $39.00, as far as the PH is concerned, you need to buy some ph UP, & ph DOWN.

PH UP/DOWN

i have some ph up and down. im using distilled water so i thought it was good to go already @RockClarke

@gatekeeper
I don’t use distilled water. I use drinking water which is purified. It has a zero ppm and is usually at 6.0 ph.

Distilled is good to go. It’ll take on the ph of the soil that it’s going into.
But you can use tap water if it doesn’t have chlorine or chloramine in it. Have to let it sit out for 24 hrs first.
If u do use tap then ph to 6.5 - 6.8 which is your happy zone in soil.
And I’m out of likes again. :roll_eyes::wink::+1::v:

I still recommend feeding your clone. It’s yellowing.

@Covertgrower
just checked back in my thread.
He’s had them 3 days.
Would you suggest 5-600 ppm to start ?

yea should i hold off since i just transplanted them to fox farm happy frog and the ppm is reading high?

I don’t worry too much about PPM already in soil. If you just transplanted to a better soil wait a week and see if they improve.
You could always start half strength.

just watered this mornin so basically wait some days then feed with the next watering u think? or get some runoff first and test ppm in 3 or 4 days? @Covertgrower

If it’s fresh soil I wouldn’t worry about testing PPM. Just feed them lightly and wait for them to respond.

can i feed now even though i watered already this mornin. if so do i just do a liter maybe with all nutrients mixed in for each plant @Covertgrower

You could, I think you’d be safe, but it won’t hurt to wait either.

@Covertgroweris it best to get a cool or warm mist humidifier

Evaporative type is best, and most efficient. That way water doesn’t get sprayed on something it shouldn’t. Like a carbon filter, shortening it’s lifespan. @gatekeeper

doing a 4x8x8 gorilla grow tent with 2 630w lights. would it be best to have hoods facing same way inward or outward.

@Oldguy @Covertgrower @Enlightened420 @RockClarke

I’d put the hoods to the Center.
And that’s a lot of light for 4 plants. :wink::v:

I suppose that depends on how the venting is set up.

will it hurt the 4 plants? the plan is to do the clones i bought but i have 8 gorilla glue #4 seeds going so will eventually have an 8 5gallon pot rotation eventually

No. It won’t hurt them if you give them enough distance to the canopy.
I’ve never used a cmh light. Not sure on distances.
I’m still using an hps /mh combo. :v:
