I just couldnt imagine sitting there with a bunch of huge pots with basically nothing in them and trying to figure out how to get a light close enough yet still shining evenly on all of them… Sounds like a magic trick to me 
just kidding but it does sound tedious.
My girls grew well over an inch within 24 hours of the transplant and im not sure they were growing that fast before the move with the little t5 I had on them. SOO… I’m pretty sure I can say that there was literally no transplant shock and there for no need to start in permanent pot in my opinion anyway.
