That should be some excellent indica ! Good job !
afghani is no more , now I start the drying process. then curing and then I can smoke it .![]()
Awesome, thanks for tagging me, im interested in how you do this
What part are you interested in @deb1
The whole harvest thing, this is what makes me most nervous. drying curing
The fun and tedious part of it ,just ask questions ,read the bible go through old threads ,you will be fine , have you decided what type of smoke you want , day time ,couch Lock?
friend wants most thc(so more milky) i want something i can smoke at night (only time i want to) habit i got into over the years so probs a lil amber. I have my trimmers already, not that i have a lot to trim lol
Thats a frosty looking girl colt, very nice
What were your trichomes like on that? Any amber at all?
That is a great harvest ! Congrats.
That girl was 95% milky, Iām pulling the LSD today and she is 60% amber , Iām going to pull them st different stages
Good stuff looks like your going to have some great smoke! That LSD developed super quick, chuck up some photos when you get a chance
Mine arenāt showing any amber yet, mostly cloudy but going to wait a while longer to get them as ripe as possible. I did a partial harvest on the big GSC that is most developed today, only because it is getting mold problems from all the humidity
Here is something for you to check out,i pulled this girl at 95% milky , I put one bud to the side and have been checking it daily, and each day there are more and more amber on it, it is now about 50/50 ,so if it keep changing , would it not make seance to pull them while milky if they are only going to turn amber @BondPacker @Hawkeye_diesel
Very interesting indeed, possibly thats just the THC degrading as the bud begins to dry out, would love to hear your take on it @Countryboyjvd1971 @Niala @Majiktoker @latewood
Bingo, @BondPacker ![]()

Hey @Coltfire, itās normal that in the drying processus , the plant will continue to mature a little. However, passing from 95% of milky to 50% amber trichomes is too much, in my opinion.
The only thing that I see is if youāre drying outside and it is been affect by the UVās of the sun and precipitate the THC degradation in CBN, it do not have to be direct exposer to sun, even in a shade area. Drying in a light room too will affect it.
Anyway, only you know how you are drying your sample bud, more information is needed, Coltfireā¦

thanks for the info @Niala
Thatās interesting point @Coltfire
And agree with @BondPacker
Like I always say; This is a matter of choice. By sharing our experience we help others. Great share about the amber showing after harvest. This is explained by the fact that the plant is still alive basically, and will evolve over the 1st few days after harvest.
@Coltfire How did your product come out? What did you yield ?
@TxGrowman, I would have ended up with 1.4lb ,but due to having a heart attack , and not being able to finish drying , I lost it all to Mould ,plus another 2.4lb from my other plants, I just harvest the last plant today , so letās hope I stay out of hospital, lol.
Sorry to hear about the heart attack, Hope you are getting better.
Bummer on the weed ! I almost lost my SSH grow when I was put in the hosp. My cousin came in and helped me finish it. At least I got something from it.
I want to try Afghani outside here in TX. I have heard that it is pretty heat resistant. We get 100+ daily in the summer and lows of 80. That looks like near what you had this year, maybe I will be a little cooler than you were. How tall did they get ? I saw the spread but the height was hard to judge.
Thanks for the help. Hope you are up and around soon. Jerry
@TxGrowman with the spreading its even hard for me to judge , but I would say if I let it go it would have been close to 5/6ft .what I was able to save , is a knock out smoke.
