She’s taking her 48 hour nap right now. She gets the chop tomorrow.
That’s great. I’m happy for you!
Have you harvested before???

It will be my first. I’ve grown several before but always ran into some outside complications that meant I didn’t get to harvest.
That stinks about the prior issues.
Even more happy for you that you’ll get to harvest. Man…I really think you just gonna have a blast with the process. It was just flat out fun!
For sure keep us updated!!
Yeah… I bounced around a lot (unintentionally) for about 5 years. Every time I’d think I was settled and try to get some going, something would come up and we’d be moving again. Or my ex would throw a fit about it for some reason.
My first harvest is 8 or 9 plants and 6 years in the making. lol
You have got this bro…![]()

Wow man, that’s great!
Yeah def happy for ya! 6 years is a long time to wait…but your patience has paid off!!
I’m going to have to try this. I got such a late start and want as much yield as possible. They probably won’t be very tall so this seems logical.
Have a happy chop day ![]()
Oh… That sound of the cutters snapping together… ![]()

I tried to take pictures before I closed her up, but my phone died mid picture. Christine is officially drying!
Congrats on the chop
Congrats!
I know that a bunch of us are looking forward to finding out the dried weight of the green weenie.
Don’t get too excited… Density wasn’t what I wanted. I’m hoping for 1 full zip.
Well… It’s a big hit to my ego and makes me feel like a noob asshat, but I’m going to share my screwup anyway, to hopefully prevent someone else from making the same oversight.
ProMix is inert
If I had paid attention, I would have realized this and probably doubled my yield on Christine. Christine was in a minute if ProMix and soil so she got some nutrients, but not what she needed and I was reading deficiency as burn. It didn’t dawn on me until Pearl and Mary gobbled up their cotyledons like they were starving and then started turning yellow and stalled out.
Everyone is getting nutes now. And everyone is appreciating it. It’s amazing how OBVIOUS the growth is when they are happy.
I did the same thing. On my first grow, I went a few months without feeding Wash any nutes (just watering) while she sat in Sunshine Mix and barely grew.
I thought it was like FF or MG soil. Wrong.
Samsonite! I was WAY off!
Better Trixie update:
She’s stretching and starting to try to stack. This morning I carefully supercropped her, just below the main top, so I could pull it over and down, closer to the level of the other tops where it’s not shading lower parts of the plant as badly. I also removed/relocated any tires I thought were no longer necessary or in the most effective location. More on that in the next post.
Hey mud…you gonna rest her for a while…![]()

She’ll probably get a couple more minor adjustments, but nothing else major. Minor spreading of the tops as they continue to grow if possible, to get a little more space…
