Mucluc's 3rd Gelato Sunrise Grow Journal

Well here we go again. This is the last of my "free seeds from winning bid of the Month. The first plant I had to harvest early because of other plants. Two seeds that I had germinated I was taking outside on my Walker with the other supplies and the plate fell off my Walker and the seeds flew in the air and I never found them. The fourth seed I started growing in the Indicanja dirt. It went a full month and then when I transplanted into a 7 gallon container and watered it it would not dry out. Did not water it again for 3 weeks and it was still wet ended up with rot and died. This is the last seed. And I also have one clone from the inducanja plant.

This time I am going back to the ocean Forest dirt. And will use Jack’s A & B when the time comes. Wish me luck everyone as it seems I need it.
It going to be in my 3x3 tent with a spider farmer G-3000.

9 days since last pictures and they are both loving the Ocean Forest.

Going to have to decide pretty darn quick now on the bigger one if I’m going to LST it and how. Was considering just letting it go on its own but that’s just doesn’t sound like me.

Transplanted to their final growing pots., 7 gal. pots. Used ocean Forest
Should be good with nutrients for the next month. Temps at 74 and humidity at 48%. Light is on for 18 hours a day. HERE WE GO!!!

I also topped both plants.

Well, it looks like both plants are liking their new homes. I have got them through the roughest part of the grow (in my opinion). They are not reaching out high for the light. They seem really bushy. But did top them both so that could be why. DLI is at 32. My spider farmer 3000 is about 2’ above the plants. Now I just need some stretch on both plants. About a foot and a half I would guess, then time to flip. The bigger one is the clone off the plant that didn’t make it. It already has white hair so just waiting for the other to catch up.
Should I put my light up higher to help the stretch???

What do y’all think???

I’d leave it low to promote stockyness , but that’s me, after this run, I don’t care for more 7-8 footers!

I am making it one day at a time. How bout you. All your snow gone yet? Hehe. I’m just trying to get one decent plant out of my 5 free seeds from the BOM. Anyway putting all I got into these two plants. I usually pick the big leaves to make room for the light to get down to the other branches. Not sure if that’s the right way or not.

Naw all is good with the plants they can take it, ah yep snow has been gone, but still not late spring warm yet, today was awesome 75 and sunshine a good breeze yesterday it was 50 and north winds howling and raining off and on, hope it breaks to summer soon.

Well I took all I could take and I could take no more. I had to defolate a little bit. Don’t like it when the branches below can’t get any light because of the huge leaves up top. So I took the leap. Or the leaf should I say.

Still pretty bushy but that’s okay I don’t mind it being bushy I just don’t want it’s so bushy the light can’t get through.

Looks like they’re taken to the seven gallon pots just fine since I got roots growing out the bottom now. I’d say they’re doing just fine.
