Moving autos (GSCE) indoors

Having never doing the indoor grow.I moved 2 girls indoors.I have a hlg 350r in place.my girls are about week 5 in flower.My questions,1) what light schedule should I use(presently 12/12.
2) what height should light be above them,presently 15” at 50 %.
Any intel is greatly appreciated,thank you.

Do you have a PAR meter or the photone app? That’ll help you dial in DLI easily. Should be somewhere around 40 DLI at this point. 15" during flowering is what HLG reccomends. You can raise it if your girls don’t like it. You can use 12/12, 18/6, 20/4 or 24/0 for your lighting schedule. Most people go 18/6 or more with autos.

I go by photone app and dli chart. Then the back of the hand at canopy and if feels warm then move light or dim and use another hour or whatever iit takes to hit dli. Youre running autos so light hours wont( not supposed to) affect the flowering of your plants.

@Outlaw
Thank you for your info.
@Allinherhead
Thank you as well.
I will get the photone app and hopefully figure it out. I have always grown outdoors.I had two auto beans and tried to get them grown and done before wet weather takes over.Well that wasn’t in Mother Natures plan.My photos did amazing this year .one of the driest falls in the SE in a long time.had very little bud rot.
The autos I moved in look great so far(been in about 2 weeks).

Get some Captain Jack’s Dead Bug! I only brought an outdoor plant in once. I’ll never do it again! Start treating for pests before they blossom into a giant headache.

The photone app is pretty easy, if you use iphone i think they might charge a fee and i think ya have to put a piece of paper over the light meter. ( theres instructions for that. For android super easy just pick your light source from the menu and your light schedule and adjust either dimmer, height or light hours til you get the desired DLI. HOPEFULLY IM ATTACHING THE DLI CHART sorry not yelling just fat fingers hitting capps button.

@Mateo good morning sir, I have a 300l hgl rspec, I prefer to run at 100 percent while budding especially and just adjust the height ( which is around 15 inches for mine) :grinning:. For autos run lights at 18/6. Those buds need lots of light though, so as long as you are not burning them, give them all they can take. If you are to close leaves will Start cupping. If that happens move light up a few inches. But this is just my way (recipe), and works well for me. And I’m an amateur grower still learning as I go :yum:.

@RPgrower ,thank you for that .I was planning to increase power/time very gradually.I’m a very patient sort.
I’m thinking to finish up around mid to late December.
I will keep this up dated.thx again
