I have two autos in bloom now and they have been seeming happy to do their thing.
You guys helped me early on when I stunted my little girls. Many thanks again for the assist.
I have a bubblegum and a blueberry.
First sprout was April 5th.
Growing in 5 gal fabric pots
Mix of Happy Frog and Ocean with added perlite…
Watering using rain water- I have a 225 gal tote hooked up to the gutter.
Grown mostly outside (now that its warm) they moved into the greenhouse if the temps drop below 50.
Early on they did get some artificial light because I started them when it was still a wee bit cold. I was a tad impatient.
At this point I am using some of the ILGM bloom time fertilizer.
My question: When I look at pics online of the Blueberry plant they have some spectacular color leaves. When about does that happen? Mine a green…
I am only about 3 weeks into flowering. Other then them being a bit small - which I expected from my first snafu - it looks happy.
I did do some very gentle training for air flow.
Here is the bubblegum plant.
Aside from not stunting the next go round - thoughts on things I should change?
Many Thanks!

Each of these girls are different. Some show their true colors, others just don’t. A lot of times if the girls are hit whith a chilly spell, they sometimes get their color. Ya just never know. Your ladies look nice and healthy

Cool. I will keep doing what I am doing and see where it leads.
Thanks!
Unfortunately those pics are not always representative of the strain. They are most often select pictures of plants that did actually display the colors. The phenotype of each individual plant will be different. Sometimes the color comes out, sometimes not. Same with smell and taste. One way to “encourage” the colors is with a temp change or watering with ice cold water for a while before the chop.

Good to know. I shall not worry about color… just keep em happy and roll with the flow.
I have been monitoring for pests, since my roses got aphids. I sprayed the roses with Neem. Not seeing any on the girls (hope I don’t curse that). I wonder if its because they are sitting amongst all the Onion plants… and Mint… and Cilantro.

Looks great. I don’t know if it makes a huge difference, but you might consider elevating that pot so air circulates around the bottom too.

I can do that… I was thinking of making them a slatted frame to sit on so they were off the ground.
Good job. Color, if it comes, will be toward the end of the grow. But then, I’m an indoor grower and new too, so what the heck do I know?

Sometime I might consider an indoor grow… depending on how these do. I am having fun with it.

Wish I could grow outside. I’d have a freakin’ forest. At least as big as I was allowed.
