Monster cropping?

I was here recently with some plants in accidental re-veg… I put them outside too early; they went into re-veg pretty deep into flowering. I corrected the light schedule, then noticed some bud rot… as I dug in, it already got all my buds :sob:

Now I’m just playing around and enjoying this learning process while I prepare for my indoor

I chopped everything and left a few healthy leaves and nodes to see if they will vegetate again.
What do y’all think? First pic is after the chop. Last 2 are pre-chop.

Ps… I don’t have any expectations, know they may not survive, and might herm. But it seemed worth a shot before trashing them! I’m in southern US

I’ve seen peeps re-grow after harvest as long as you leave enough vegetation on for photosynthesis.

That’s what I’ve been reading and I’m hoping I did it right!

I have done a few re-gens over the years. Idk if it will monster crop since you didn’t leave any buds, but it will still regenerate and reveg. In my experience regenerating them more than once usually produces mediocre weed though. You can’t just do it over and over.

I was worried about leaving any buds due to the bud rot :sob: good to hear that we have a decent chance of regen tho!

I’m setting up an indoor space and will be germinating new seeds soon. We’ll just see what happens with these girls!
Thanks for the info, I won’t waste my time trying to regenerate these again after this.

You absolutely did the right thing there. They may or may not be able to produce before it gets too cold. Should be an cool experiment one way or the other.

I’m very far south in the US, so we have a long ways to go before we get cold, thankfully!

We may have a few “cold” weeks but it doesn’t usually get below 50 until December.

As long as you can keep them from freezing you should be OK. That’s what kills me here. The days are pretty warm but the desert nights get cold quick.

Stupid question, I have experienced Bud rot I THOUGHT i knew what it is, but is it just caused from the moisture trapped inside the buds? say from condensation? Or is it actually a little critter getting in there and doing damage

I’m actually not sure! I believe mine was from rain & humidity, plus the fat buds … Not sure if it can come from critters though!

Update from chop down.
One plant died and one is thriving! I had no expectations, but I’m stoked with how well she’s growing, and so fast!!
