I’m getting ready to give my BK it’s first nutes. I’m in 1/3 of and 2/3 ff question is can i mix recharge, and silica and jacks 321 all together in a gallon of tap water? @Covertgrower @Borderryan22 @BobbyDigital @merlin44 @Budz @Newt @MeEasy

I would suggest doing it with a couple of gallons. A full dose of Jack’s doesn’t dissolve completely in a single gallon. I water mature plants with 3 gallons in 10 gal pots. I put Part A in one gallon and Part B in another so they dissolve completely. Epsom, silica, and so on get put in the 3rd gallon.

You can, silica, jacks then recharge. I have mixed it this way a few times but moved to top feeding recharge separately and I don’t feed this to run off.

Looks like others have you covered. I don’t use Jack’s (yet).
I’m in 10 gal fabric pots 1 gal. of water only gives about 1/2 cup of runoff. What do you mean buy top feeding?
I mix Jacks a day or two before i’m going to use it , so it is all dissolved.

When mixing silica with Jack’s you have to add the silica to your water very first, and mix the crap out of it. Let it sit for about 15 or 20 minutes, then mix it again for good measure. Then add Jack’s, then pH, then microbes.

U can always use like quarter to half cup of hottest tap water u can get to dissolve the 3 parts. 3 seperate cups measure out each part add quarter to half cup of hott ass water and stir. 3 to 5 mins u can add the water to the buckets. If u use silica and calmag which some do from time to time. Always always do silica in water first then calmag if u use calmag also then start parts a then part e then any additive u r gonna add them last part b always do part b last as lots of other nutes will bond to that one if not done last. Now all is mixed up pH the mix I always need about tbsp and a half of pH down to get me to 5.8 for coco so I usually add that first as I already know I’m gonna need it. But after all 3 parts r mixed and PhD then u add tribus fishshit recharge ect recharge can also be top fed which is just after u water the plant sprinkle like a tsp or tsp and a half around the base of the plant and it will seem into the medium and also next watering be released into the medium. If u choose to water with the recharge water the plant normal and keep about 8 to 10 oz of mix at end add the recharge to that leftover and finish watering with the last 8 to 10.oz. Always add tribus fishshit recharge after the mix has been PhD also as pH up and down kills off some of the wanted microbes in the mix so phing first stops the microbe killing
Silica should always be added last.
